An agent could easily be an attorney, in fact it makes their job a lot easier.
look into the murky landscape of agents, business managers, and entertainment attorneys in lala-land these days.

I must admit I have very little experience with the layout of that murky landscape. On another area of my utter ignorance: Does anyone out there know whether the Aug. 24 comment from the Jane Doe's on Amanda (nee ??) Goodfried's MySpace might be fake -- something planted by a trickster? Maybe I'm being paranoid, but that was a connection that seemed too good to be true.

I called CAA's number and they had no listing for any Goodfried. So maybe she kept her maiden name.

Okay, I figured out Amanda's maiden name: She was born Amanda Solomon. And she and Greg registered with Bed Bath and Beyond. I got the dope by searching for "Gregory Goodfried"'s wedding registry at theknot.com, where I came up with this: theknot.gifts.com/registry/wedding/search?type=B&firstName=Gregory&lastName=Goodfried&month=&year= My hands are shaking now, though I'm not sure what to do with this info. If anyone ever calls CAA again, they might ask for Amanda Solomon, and if that doesn't work, ask for Amanda Goodfried. ETA: If a bunch of us end up feeling guilty for prying into the newlyweds' personal and professional lives, maybe we could pitch in and get them a couple sets of "6 Bistro Black Steak Knives" ($24.95 each) from Crate and Barrel, which they registered for but never received.

SDM, yes, we did see that photo before, in connection with Amanda's sister-in-law (and MySpace friend), Lisa Goodfried, who's involved with the Young Storytellers program. But I don't think either of the girls in that photo could possibly be "our Bree."

It's definately not Bree Turner. She has actually been in a lot of movies, mostly 2nd rate, like Duece Bigalow, and Bring It On 2, and she has done a lot of tv work.

But possibly the inspiration for the name. There is too much here to be a coincidence.

No new info from me yet, but I've been thinking... We know that Amanda Solomon, who works for CAA and married Ken Goodfried's son on June 3, 2006, was in communication with the Jane Doe's via MySpace on and/or before August 24. And we know that lg15 used a JaneDoe's song in a vieo posted on August 29. So doesn't it seem likely that Amanda Solomon somehow liased with the Jane Doe's to secure permission, or ask for payment, or something, having to do with the use of that song in the video?
If we ever do manage to contact Amanda at CAA, maybe it would be best to ask questions having to do with the Jane Doe's and lg15, rather than accusing her of sending Bree's e-mails or something.

This probably means nothing, but one of Amanda Solomon Goodfried's myspace friends, Cristy Beasley, links to www.edenrocproductions.com where it says Cristy is the VP of Development under "Executives." The only project they list involvement with is the movie "Southland Tales," but who knows. edit: has the director of Southland Tales, Richard Kelly, denied involvement? In Bree's first ever video, she used the cover of "Mad World" popularized by his first movie Donnie Darko.

I just called CAA and asked for Amanda Solomon's office. The operator connected me to a line that rang a few times and then went to a voicemail recording of a woman's voice saying I'd reached the office of (what sounded like) "Charles Melnicker and his assistant, Amanda." I didn't leave a message. But now we know that Amanda Solomon works as an assistant to some guy whose name sounds like "Charles Melnicker" (spelling??) at CAA. ETA: Okay, Google revealed immediately that Amanda's boss's name is spelled "Charles Melniker." His e-mail address at CAA, according to everyonewhosanyone.com/tt/tlta1.htmlis cmelniker@caa.com
