My boyfriend is not interested in the LG15 thing what so ever.
Example--
Me: blah blah blah LG15! Zomg, Daniel. Video. Bree. Blah blah blah. Justin: *farts* So what should we do next in the game?
So yeah, he won't be budged, he just doesn't want to hear about it. He's of the mind that we're all crazy. ((which is funny, coming from him. Ha ha ha))

You all are amazing. I got an analysis from a sound wizard I know, and he got something totally different: "Virginia. . .span company MISSED you. . .ka-ching!" Says it sounds like it was recorded in a laudry room, with a dryer. I'm going to your audio files now. have you tried asking bree if she has any knowledge of why "cassie" would be emailing you in regards to lonelygirl15? might be a bit tricky but...

My boyfriend is not interested in the LG15 thing what so ever. Sounds familiar. A conversation with my wife would be very similar: Me: blah blah blah LG15! Zomg, Daniel. Video. Bree. Blah blah blah. Wife: *sips glass of wine* So what do you want to watch on TV?

Hushmail account has been disabled (by someone repeatedly entering the wrong password...). Just ploughed through the threads and couldn't see a post of the original soundfile. Would appreciate an unaltered version.
Sound is my thing... If I can't hack some sense out of it, there isn't anything to left to find

After coming in contact with quite a few LG frauds, I feel this gives us absolutely no reason to believe it. Perhaps its even coming from the same fraudsters. We have no reason to believe it is what it claims to be. If they wanted us to follow it it should have at least come with something that would prove its from who it says they are. But there is nothing, they made it obscure and hard to hear because they knew we'd deconstruct it till Doomsday.
HERE ARE MY 2 HYPOTHESES: 1. it's fake, comes from a fan who wants to become part of the drama. This was not hard to do, and its purposely hard to hear so we'd analyze it even more and try to figure out the mystery when there's actually nothing to figure out. A total waste of time. 2. it's real, it comes from those who made LG and this was meant to be a clue. However, in my opinion they NEED (and want) us to follow it in order to keep the plot going the way they want it. They know we're obsessive so of course we will, right? I say wrong. Let's drop it completely. That way, if it IS from LG, they'll have to supply something more verifiable and "proof positive" that it is from them when they send along their next sound byte (which presumably they will) in order to get us to really follow it.

Virginia: That's even more creepy. I sorta liked the illusion of LG-Story plot, ha ha ha.
Crackity: Maybe lets send my boyfriend and your wife out on a date, and we'll get together and discuss LG all night?

A couple things, which (again, I'm sorry) need some explaining:
1. John Green: I don't have the confession in text, because it came in an admittedly funny way. I emailed this game designer about his involvement, he denied it, and then he sent an email to me that was supposed to seem like it was intended for someone else. That email said,
-- Hey Nick,
This is getting hilarious. The New York Times... the NYFUCKINGTIMES! We're either going to be heroes, or be in deep, deep shit by the time this is finished.
Joe
--
. . .but it seemed very unlikely that a techy dude like Joe would email me and cc "Nick" by accident. I pushed it, and even wrote to "Nick," only to be told by the Nick guy that it was a joke. Joe never backed down, though. Since he knows about Thelema, videogames, and ARGs like "I Love Bees," he would be a help to us. I might even ask him to join.
2. Can we agree that the audiofile is basically a woman saying something kind of scary and basically inaudible, which makes it sound like she's under duress, but which doesn't give clear details? If so, I don't know if it's the real real Cassie, or the fake real one, or the real fake one; it seems like another element in a "Blair Witch"-promotion kind of game. Flemming?
3. Ka: Damn, I don't know how to forward the audio file except to get people to go to the hushmail site, and now I guess that link has been burned. I wonder who entered the wrong password? Someone who didn't like everyone getting their hands on it?
Thanks a million, everyone.

Virginia, Have you asked Flemming about his current blog post, with the pic of LG15 & Oswald? I emailed him but have received no answer.
EDIT: I know you can't ask him about every little thing, but still...

OK this is defo the last sound edit that i am doing for now,with a better compression ,Incidently the original was not on standard .AVI,and reads from 00000 to 66608 data bits,which leads me to suspect a hoax, why not put it in mp3 or mpg,which would have been more likely? media.putfile.com/cassmp3sorry bout earlier post.....lost my concentration:=}

I've been following this whole saga for a while now, but I only just discovered this website - so hi to all.
I've listened to the last two edits mku77 posted, and for me the middle portion of dialogue definately sounds like it starts with 'Skype' and then maybe a name. That in itself would be interesting if it was true.

I say John Green sent you that in order to get into the NYTimes. He figured us crazies would pick up on this "accident" and publish it. I say he gets no more notice from us, not one iota.

The link to the file doesn't work in my Firefox. It just shows a page saying what the question is, but offering nowhere to type the answer in.
