I agree with a comment I saw on the main LG15 page: Saw 4??

In retrospect, I'd never have imagined bedroom-confined Bree with her saccharrine videos to evolve into "torture" videos (unless, of course, it was playful torture of P. Monkey for eating the last chocolate chip cookie). I'm kinda incredulous. It's mind-bogglingly absurd, in a way.

I am curious to see what happens next...

Looks like someone took a page right out of Human Pet.
I really didn't like this. The voice-over was hokey while everyone acting so whacked out was just rather annoying, I mean having the show be "dark" is one thing, but this is outright horror. They can NEVER go back to anything light-hearted again. I know I said this when Bree's dad was shot, and they did manage to do a little bit of that kind of stuff, but after THIS? I mean this is absurd. If they ever do escape, I could never imagine anyone filming anything at all, let alone something fun and lighthearted. What the heck is going on??

It was awful on just about every level. Plot inconsistencies, horrible sound editing, triteness, cheesy voice acting, just the whole horrid thing. It was not scary, just kinda sad

I read the editing machine crapped out on them, hence the delay, but this was just.... I can't begin to articulate how much I did not like this.

ETA: I wonder if Glenn had his hand in this? I kinda doubt it as his vids were a lot slicker. The phorum and LGPedia are at a crawl now, so if anyone has a director credit please post it for us.

Glenn couldn't have been involved with this, last we heard the lawyers were fighting it out and they can't even talk about him, so I extremely doubt he's actually still helping them with videos. It could be that this was filmed before glenngate, but seeing as it's been three weeks I doubt they have that big a backlog

I haven't been able to download this yet, but perhaps it's time to provide a rating for each video, like G, PG, R, NC17.

LG15=Sweet Bree, suitable for the whole family
LG18=Weird Bree, suitable for teenagers and adults

I NEVER EVER thought Lg15 would take this direction in such a short time. Jebus, I am beginning to enjoy this so much! It is finally adult. The music is gorgeous but I genuinely enjoy this episode ( I guess it has left the vlogs now), I really found it a but unnerving to see characters we know so well in that situation. The odd camera angles with Jonas and Daniel worked well imo.

8.5/10 for me. Compared to PSW which counts as like a 4/10 for me.

I just hope the creators do not over do this. Just one is nice.

Ok, I am on the verge of joining Terry and stopping to watch this trainwreck altogether.

In what way is this adult? The exploitation tack this seems to be hinging off, the campy voiceover, the childish description text. I cannot even begin to voice the level of my distaste.

I do love mature stories. Horror scores high on my chart as well. But frankly, this is just camp, garage exploitation. Horror should be preceeded by dread for a nice tension arc. This comes out of nowhere, and likely will go nowhere.

I could see this as an end point or nearly end point of a story, but seriously, tight corner, bucket of paint, creators flailing arms.

This is adult? I'd like to see this pulled in any rated R movie. The theater would laugh.
And I am quite aware this is not a fair comparison because movies have much larger budgets, but still, there was a lot more wrong with this than "faulty audio" (which I don't believe, I think it would have sounded stupid "faulty audio" problem or not).

I'm not bothered by the aesthetics of the video, or anything like that, I can suspend disbelief about why the order would even make this video at all (seriously, wouldn't they make a very straightforward video, rather than all this hoopla?) It's just this damn plot. I cannot wrap my head around why the order first follows bree like an orphaned puppy, then they out of the blue start kidnapping and torturing? I wholeheartedly echo CG's sentiments about free will. This totally benign religion/not religion goes from puppy to velociraptor instantly. then back to puppy, then... My head hurts just thinking about it. ugh. but I can't stop checking it, even though I feel very apathetic about the whole enterprize.

awesome that you're here, OIC! even when the series sucks (and when they were first on the road, i was zombified by that) i just like hanging out for the commentary.
