oohh, you are probably right about that. tachyon may be substituted for some previously-unknown anti-order faction, i bet. because i don't see how they are going to get out of this without outside intervention, unless the order lets them go thinking they are all brainwashed. That would be lame, lame as hell. Elixer's suggestion of Alex however is an interesting one. Based on the way she has been discussed by the Cs, it seemed like she was just a random interlude and not meant to be a recurring character. That said, I would actually not mind Alex seeing her nephew getting "tortured", which she basically had warned him about, and having a change of heart and somehow busting them out. I bet Daniel and Jonas are already gone though because the Order told them to go home (wherever home is) and they probably did. I wouldn't mind at least seeing Daniel's room again since I know Bree's is out of the question, but instead maybe they'll go to Jonas's or who knows where. Well, I am curious how this will turn out, because I don't think Bree will be in the Order's hands for long (one would assume they would have done the ceremony within a few days), but if this goes the way so many other points of suspense have it'll just fall apart in some sort of lame resolution.

The t-shirt thing just reminded me about the LG15 store. So many people submitted great designs and they still haven't put up a single one, have they? I was so looking forward to purchasing some souvenir... but did anyone else think those designs were really uninspired? I mean, a picture of a juicer, available in like 15 different colors does not a "store" make, does it? Argh!!! Nooooooo..... this series has so much potential - budget or no budget - why do they always take the clichéd, cheesy, totally unbelievable road? Fingers crossed the next one is better.... Those used to be my thoughts after almost every video... I think eventually I gave up hoping just to avoid the disappointment. Now, if they do something truly interesting, I'll be so surprised and I'll enjoy it so much more since I wasn't expecting it! whooo As for the plot; there are so many holes I don't even want to start. Plot holes are fun! We have an LGPedia article all about them! Feel free to add anything we missed, or fill in any holes that you think can be explained away. www.lonelygirl15.com/lgpedia/index.php?title=Plot_holesThe list of videos you're referring to is meant to reflect the official videos that the Create-a-trons migrated to the left-hand column of the lg15 website. They migrated some of the Oppy videos, but none of the Tachyon or Brother videos. So yeah, the real question is, why are the random early Op vids "required viewing" and Tachyon's "Gemma?" videos are not? We have a little Tachyon Soundtrack page too (link, in case anyone's interested www.lonelygirl15.com/lgpedia/index.php?title=Tachyon_Soundtrack) I think it was a mistake to continue to pursue it so much, at least not without actually laying out serious reasons for why she is needed to do it. Yeah, big mistake. The more bored we get watching her run away from the ceremony, and more the Order follows her (for months now, really!), the more we all think "Man, there BETTER be a good reason for all this." If such reasons are ever revealed, we are almost guaranteed to be underwhelmed by it at this point. This video pretty much canceled the previous notion that Bree has to do the ceremony of her own free will. I do hope she does the ceremony, and the Order posts a video of it - because at least finding out what happens in the ceremony would provide viewers with some satisfaction. I doubt this will happen, but I can hope. Yeah, I agree the whole free will concept has been distorted, but it is a parents-napping, dad-killing, Daniel-drugging cult. Don't most intense cults and secret societies have some concepts that they distort for their own purposes? They might also be trying to justify their actions based on True Will, the "partner" concept to Free Will in Thelema. True Will is what it sounds like, it's what you're "supposed" to do (e.g., not abusing your Free Will to wreak havoc on others' lives). Perhaps the Order considers Bree to be acting irresponsibly with her Free Will, and needs to be set straight to do her "True Will", for if she doesn't do the ceremony, the universe will implode and everybody will die. Disclaimer: I didn't know anything about Thelema before I started watching the series, so take my definitions with a big scoop of salt, k? And please, no flames if I got something wrong, just correct me nicely. And if any of your can bear it, you should watch the video again. They fixed the audio, and even though the Hal voice still sounds very insecure, at least the audio seems to be working. I have the old version saved, and after comparing them I do have to give them credit for greatly improving the sound quality. Sorry for the long post, I will summarize more next time! 1 EDIT: To update what I said about the Tachyon vids on the LGPedia.

And the title... it didn't quite seem like psychological torture to me. More like a drugged attempt at brainwashing. Well, if you're going to be Jim Carey, I get to be Jeff Daniels (dumber. or, was it the other way around?) I was under the impression that the psychological torture was sleep deprivation. That's what it looked like to me. But then again, the only drugged person I'vebeen around is my husband after his wisdom teeth were pulled, and he just slept and cried alot.

Some miscellaneous comments if I may... No one has said it so it is either totally stupid or too obvious to say out loud (since I am quick to state both) so I will say it : The Physchological Torture was perpetrated on us. Geeze oh man. Temp...You absolutely cracked me up. How could ANYone be surprised by your comments? You have got to be the most wonderful woman in your "field"! Question: Did/does Glen "own" Tachyon et al? That would be awkward; still I would be glad to see that whole ARG thing get deep sixed, it is WAY too much work and a little "out there" with the D&D crowd. The bathtub scenes with Joan and Daniel were a little homo-erotic actually. They looked like two college boys after a night of drinking playing dangerously with the idea of taking a bath together. (I'm just sayin'...I mean I wouldn't know or nuthin'. I just read a lot) Oh and about their escape...Helloooooooo!!!!! Cassie is down there in the basement!!!! Remember? Oh man I would so love to see her come stumbling in to all this right now. Christ, I would pay for the episode! That is of course if I could get a part as big as the candy thing..what was that candy anyway? I forget all ready.

This is off-topic, but just wanted to note that MySpace danielbeast just got a myspace message saying "FAKE". I can't believe people aren't over that yet. I can only assume this person is otherwise ignorant of the whole lg phenomenon and came to this conclusion on their own after watching some.

Maybe Alex? LOL, I was thinking "danielle'. I haven't watched any LGs for a week and watched the last three just now. I DON'T like this crap anymore. I wanted horror/adult - not cheese and poor acting. *grimaces* Would anyone like cheese on that McRib?

Think the "FAKE" might have been because it's a fake danielbeast account? I mean fake as in run by a fan and not the production. Meh, I'm probably giving them too much credit...

Oweniscool says:Disclaimer by moi : The cult in this series is so diametrically opposed to the Thelema that we can suffice only the website symbol shares a link to it. Unfortunately with the denials of this being the Thelemic paths it is harder for us to compare core beliefs. Within the Thelema however a core belief is that True Will is your personal Will or even kismet as offered by your Higher Self. "Thy own Will be done" being a common use as opposed to the Christo-centric "Thy Will be Done" So one person has no right whatsoever to make the True Will happen for you, that is your own job. They would be drastically interfering with your Will to see their Will happen. A big no-no. Kind of like a branch of Christianity worshipping a statue of Set. Utterly diametrically opposed to a core statement of faith. Again unfortunately we cannot really compare solid occult paths to this series as they have smooshed together their ideas of occult and X-File conspiracies. I used to get really pissed by them claiming some invention to be a very well respected system within occult society, until I came to the conclusion the creators are the Mr. Magoo's of IMS and they would hit and miss with lots of things. Random note for the baying hater of this video : I paid no attention to the voice in this video, I barely recall it in fact. I was focusing on the characters squirming.

Random note for the baying hater of this video : I paid no attention to the voice in this video, I barely recall it in fact. I was focusing on the characters squirming. I rewatched the version with the audio repaired and it was much less distracting. I also read a phorumite post comparing the Orderite VO with that of Frank (the Rabbit) in Donnie Darko and how lame the former was compared to the later. My guess is that they were trying for the same kind of effect and just didn't come close though. Interestingly, I don't think I have ever read as many negative Phorum posts in response to a vid as this one garnered... Good Lord, I agree with the majority of phorumites. Just go ahead and shoot me. I also thought the Kidz did a pretty good job with the facial expressions when I viewed it without sound altogether. Interesting how the audio can have such a great effect... I think your earlier comments, Temp, are fairly valid. One of my favs is Requiem for a Dream, hardly lite fair... Perhaps I will never care to see Bree et al being subjected to this kind of treatment though, no matter what the plot has to do with it. If they were trying to evoke horror or empathy with the characters though, I think they only managed cheesy. Perhaps they could have pulled this off with Glenn's help, I dunno.

I never saw the version with the bad voice, so my opinion comes strictly from having seen only the repaired version. Personally, I quite liked this video. *shrug* Granted, if I'd heard the bad voice over, I probably wouldn't feel this way. I was wondering what people were talking about because I thought the voice sounded alright, but come to find out the one I saw just now is a repaired version.
Hmph.
