but

some people speculated it might have meant 12.10.06 because honestly we DON'T REALLY KNOW how Bree writes her dates, remember?

We've already learned in the Breeniverse to not take everything for what it seems. Is it possible that after the big ousting we started to take things MUCH MORE LINEARLLY than the creaters expected/wanted and now they have to spoonfeed us because we are SO LOST in our jadedness that they don't know what else to do?

I always thought it was odd that Bree said nothing about when the ceremony was going to be until the day before the maybe-fake ceremony. It's possible the only reason Daniel thought it was 10-12 is because the forums said it was. (Which would mean he would know we got that date from the cookie monster video?)

The cookie monster clue COULD have been an intentional deception - it wouldn't be that hard to plan things like this assuming the overall plot of the series was developed at the beginning (a view I subscribe to). A few plot twists should be expected. If it was an intentional deception by the creators, the question is whether we should believe it was planted by bree or not.

Daniel has been disparaging Bree's religion for a long time. Perhaps Bree was chosen for the "ceremony" just so Daniel could be dealt with?

It seems very naive of both Bree and Daniel to assume that her parents/the elders will never find these vlogs. We know Lucy has a computer, and we know she has google earth, so we know she's connected to the internet.

I think the elders have to know somehow about Bree's vlog, which means one of two things. They either are making her post what they want, or they seriously don't trust her at this point.

Maybe they're trying to lead him into filming some OTHER random trumped up ceremony.

Maybe, *just like Aleister Crowley,* they're into bigging up the "baby-eating conspiratorial satanic freaks" image just for fun.

Maybe they're members of the Cacophony Society.


When *all* bets are off, that's not such sterling writing and planning.

i liked it, but i think i am definitely giving the creators some leeway, i mean i know there are some inconsistencies but i'm willing to go along to a certain extent b/c i'm still interested in the story line. i'm actually glad that wasn't the real ceremony, maybe it is (like alissa suggested) 12-10-06 (if she grew up in new zealand, which way do they normally do their dates?) but because we assumed it was in oct, they went with that date to create some drama with daniel and also to extend things a bit (i mean, wasn' t the ceremony kindof supposed to be the climax?).

i'm glad there is still a chance that we can see some cool cult ceremony footage. and so much can happen between now and then!

This is just a minor little point, but in the video "daniel, be careful" she says that she hasn't watched videos for a couple of days 'cause she wanted the experience of the ceremony to soak in...
if there was no ceremony, why wasn't she watching any videos? lol probably just a tiny plot hole or something, just something i was thinking

It isn't a big deal.

He has been following the Order around, taking video of them minding *their* own business and going about their own activities. Daniel has *not* been shown pictures indicating that the Order followed him around and spied on him minding *his* own business or going about *his* own activities.


But for some reason, I guess we're "supposed" to be afraid of their documenting his stalking. The raving fans at the Phorum are all over that. Just like Daniel, they've been building conspiracy theories out of spit and confectioners sugar -- it's like a Food Network Challenge!

haha, yet again I agree with noasinger...Is everyone else honestly that freaked out that they had pictures of him? I don't think I'd go into hiding. Maybe if he found the pictures in a file marked "we're going to kill the person in these pictures" or something to that effect. But just pictures? eh.

If your to young to get that picture let me explain Dallas was a hit TV show in the 70's and 80's they got a new writing staff one season and the new staff hated what happened last season they decide to make all last year a dream and the Patrick duffy character who was killed in that last season was surprise just fine now. So everything that happened was a dream and thats what this episode of LG was. Did they jump a shark in this one no they pulled a Duffy in the shower.
