On the other hand, is a "Full House" ending where everyone hugs and becomes better people going to satisfy anyone? I'd be the first to vomit. Word. I would bet that they don't have a central theme or an ending planned out. Remember, they are details that this thing may last a lot longer than the original plan called for. Besides, if they are going to really pay attention to what we say and possibly ad increased interactivity how could they have this thing planned out. I know major TV shows like Buffy, Lost, etc. only plan so far in advance...

Can someone post a transcript? Even with all my volume turned way up, I couldn't hear a word she said.
EDIT: Thanks, Noasinger!

I'm not so sure about that. If the purpose of these videos was primarily to create a message of religious tolerance, would they really portray the religion as overbearing and weird? As weird as it seems to us, to Bree and her parents it may not be overbearing and strange at all. We only have the perspective of an outsider and the limited information we have put together about their beliefs from the vlogs. Religious tolerance would be a smug theme -- one which I certainly didn't pick up on. Could be very interesting, especially with all the ho-ha about Bree being "some kind of Satanist" that were appearing in the early comments (when the Crowley picture first came up.) I really want to see how this series wraps up! I hope more episodes are coming (at least from Daniel, if not Bree.) Cheers, syncomm

We only have the perspective of an outsider and the limited information we have put together about their beliefs from the vlogs. I don't think I was leaping to conclusions. Bree is homeschooled against her wishes because of their religion. They have told her she can't go on hikes with her best and only friend, because she might somehow violate her religious obligations. A party? Out of the question. Her religion has been presented to us as the reason that Bree is lonely. I think it's reasonable to describe that as overbearing. If you were going to spread a message of religious tolerance to the YouTube demographic, is this the way you would present the religion?

If you were going to spread a message of religious tolerance to the YouTube demographic, is this the way you would present the religion? I agree, it would certainly be odd. That's why I never really thought about it until this video (and thread) came up. I was just speculating a bit; I didn't mean to suggest your opinion wasn't rooted in rational thought. While Bree is lonely, undoubtedly because of her belief system, she does take her religion very seriously. This video, in a way, illustrated that she would rather be alone than to give up her religious beliefs. Which is a striking turnabout from the direction I expected in future episodes. Cheers, syncomm

I hope I'm wrong, but I am wondering if the creators have decided to pull the plug. They don't seem to be getting much traffic on thier web site, judging from the number of comments, and since My First Kiss, which was posted at the hieght of the controversy and got a record number of views, thier veiw count on youtube has been falling, and most of the comments are from haters.
As I said I hope I'm wrong, after watching this latest video, I feel like someone has just broken up with ME.

aw haha. That's cute. I think they'd stick it out until October 12, at least.

I hope I'm wrong, but I am wondering if the creators have decided to pull the plug. Well, it would be insane to stop now, since they are still the most subscribed channel on YouTube, so it's unlikely. However, I would like to point out that Bree said, "I think this will be my last video blog." She didn't say "for awhile" she just said, "last video blog." Of course, I don't believe that for a second, but I do wonder if they might be considering pushing the Daniel character out of the story and introducing someone else to pal around with Bree. I think this would be pretty unfair to our friend Yousef, who in real life seems very cool, but I wouldn't put it past them to write him out and bring in a different actor.

The creators wouldn't scrap Daniel now, he's important. This is just a little thing to incite the messageboards into a frenzy. Although this is pretty weak, barely two pages? Where is everyone =[

Now that I think about it, she's on a strict diet and Daniel's offering her…dinner?
They're obviously playing Daniel against parents against the religion. It's gonna be interesting to see what they consider the public's opinion on this. Like who will the yt teenagers side with?
Actually, it seems the religion makes more sense than Daniel or her parents. Does anything from any of the research that's been done indicate that she needs to be as sheltered as she is due to her faith? These restrictions seem to be imposed on her by her parents in the name of their religion. Of course, who knows what this purity bond requires. It doesn't sound like she thinks she's broken it, and she's pretty smart.
Poor Bree is being torn in 3 directions. Thus, the incredible pressure of being a teenager...juggling boyfriends, parents, homeschool and esoteric occult rituals.
I think if the ratings are slipping they may make us wait a day or two extra to drive up demand, but it won't end...and part of what may happen is Daniel coming to understand and respect her religion even though it's "weird". Maybe not before he gets meaner though. I feel a big event coming.

wouldn't it be interesting if it *was* the last blog from bree's perspective for awhile? what i'm thinking is daniel has the camera...he could "stalk" bree or do some of his own videos, complaining about missing her, etc.... but eventually he'd follow bree to the ceremony...then the story keeps going, but w/o her perspective for awhile?

My So Called Cult. She does indeed appear to have the teenage girl melodrama DOWN well, she IS still a teen, roflol.. seriously, she did great in this one - much better at being down than being angry this vid was great!!! can't wait for the next one which I'm hoping to be from daniel explaining his rationale and his side of things and why he woudln't give her a chance to explain....

Like who will the yt teenagers side with? It's an interesting thought. I hope they aren't collecting too much input from the YT comments lately. They seem to have gotten... um, scary!

This one torn my heart out. Jess has pleasantly surprised me as this one gave her a real chance to act and she was up to the task. Kudos girl, you just might have the chops to pull it off!
