I'm not going to go through to find exactly which ones, but there were a few videos before the rolling stones one where I'd noticed at the time that she looked more worn out than usual. Even with her being worn out in this one, if they were trying to hide things then I kinda doubt that they would allow it to show so heavily. EDIT: This is not the only source where I found this information... www.skin-cosmetics.biz/art_darkcircles_causes.php

if we go to brian flemmings blog and see his latest entry: www.slumdance.com/blogs/brian_flemming/it takes us to this site: www.williamgibsonbooks.com/books/pattern.aspthey are talking about a book called: Pattern Recognition: they have a blurb thing about it which goes: Cayce Pollard is an expensive, spookily intuitive market-research consultant. In London on a job, she is offered a secret assignment: to investigate some intriguing snippets of video that have been appearing on the Internet. An entire subculture of people is obsessed with these bits of footage, and anybody who can create that kind of brand loyalty would be a gold mine for Cayce's client. But when her borrowed apartment is burgled and her computer hacked, she realizes there's more to this project than she had sorry if its a repost, just thought i would post it here as someone mentioned brian flemming. maybe this is a red hearing as he has denied being in on this and just wants to toy with us? gerald

If she's an actress, I think she's really good.
Was anyone ever the new kid at school? Or do you remember the way new kids at your school got treated? Or does anyone remember being really excited about learning, only to be ridiculed for it?
How many times have you seen an unpopular kid try to ignore teasing, only to watch the teasing get so nasty that it breaks the kid? It makes me want to believe, so badly, that it's all real.
But I digress...
Pluto was stripped of its planet status two weeks ago. Speaking of rings -- does Bree ever wear so much as earrings? Any sort of jewelry at all?
I think it might be speaking to a different point about the Bree character -- she's not from a wealthy family. She doesn't have a lot of stuff. Her room is not the sort of room that's in a home, but rather an apartment.

Jay: Yeah, I was that kid. :\ Three different highschools in five years. I ended up on the five year plan because I stopped asking questions after 10th grade.
But I do like the point you made about her family status.

Anyways, it was following from a thread in the old board where an alleged architect said the shots she could see of the room had the characteristics of a two- or three- bedroom apartment.

I have no way of telling whether it is a house, apartment or caravan, although I do work in the building industry as a surveyor.

Re the poorness.
I asked why you think she is poor? What made you come to this conclusion? Maybe she has little personal things as she has moved a lot during her short time in the world?
Like I say, its all very clever but I cannot see how you can contrive to claim she is from a poor family, unless its a guess. My opinion, purely based on my feelings that she was from an upper class family.

.... something I noticed.... remember how there was previous discusion (around the swimming video) about how she made a comment on youtube along the lines of going to public school for a while but it not working out (or they were mean to her, I can't find the exact quote now).
Is the "star girl" incident the same incident that ruined the public school experience for her? And here's a stretch, but maybe cassie was one of the girls that perpetuated the rumor about her and her teacher? That doesn't make sense though, not if they "walked the track" together. But it still feels like this is filling in the gap of why she left public school.
maybe?
(and completely unrelated, I loved the book Pattern Recognition, and I'm a big William Gibson fan, so if things do head in that direction I would love to help with any research/clues)

How about this for a stretch guys, I felt the jump from lets make fun of the smart girl and call her stargirl to lets say she is sleeping with the teach was a bit forced, if we say that she has a split personality and she is Cassie but doesn’t know it. Maybe Cassie was actually sleeping with the teacher and that is why she had to leave the school. Even I don’t believe this, it would be way to soap operaish.

Speaking of rings -- does Bree ever wear so much as earrings? Any sort of jewelry at all? I can't think of any time we've seen her with earrings in a video. There is a photo on her myspace where she has earrings hanging off her lips though. Not piercings mind you, just clipped over her lip. I'm not sure about any other jewelry though.

Re the poorness. I asked why you think she is poor? What made you come to this conclusion? Maybe she has little personal things as she has moved a lot during her short time in the world? You said that I was talking utter shit. You didn't ask why I thought she was not from a wealthy family. One reason we left the old forum was to get away from that sort of unproductive conversation. I don't want this to become a class warfare thing, but I offer the following pieces of evidence -- none of it in anyway conclusive -- but merely evidence that is out there, and worth cataloging. Again, much of this comes from the architect thread in the old forum (which now has 200 threads, and i couldn't find this one). Her room has cheap hardwood flooring, or maybe even laminate, you can get a good glimpse of it in the Grillz video. The walls of the house are in good condition. The corners are plumb. The walls appear unblemished. This is characteristic only of an apartment. Newer homes are seldom built with cheap hardwood flooring in the bedroom. Even cheap hardwood is more expensive than carpeting -- a builder wants to keep costs down. But maintenance of hardwood or laminate is cheaper -- an apartment owner wants to keep maintenance costs down. But, even if it's an apartment, maybe since her folks move around a lot, they rent. The LA area is brutally expensive -- not the sort of place you'd buy a house in 2004, if you were thinking of moving. But, look at Bree's room. Nothing is expensive. Her clothes, tank tops and jeans mostly, are cute and stylish, but not exactly couture. The decor is mostly Target. She does not wear jewelry. Her computer monitor is a CRT. Her Edward Hopper picture is unframed. So, I was merely observing, that there's nothing that points to wealth. Yes, this is consistent with it being a college student production, this is consistent with a transient family that is unwealthy, and, yes, this is sorta consistent with a family that is just austere.

windwaterfire3 (4 hours ago) you know what happened to pluto when we as humans deemed it no longer a planet? NOTHING! pluto doesnt give a damn and whatever we choose to call it doesnt change anything about what it is and always has been. now think of how that applies to you that really is an interesting comment, especially in light of the way this hubub has blossomed around a few simple vids as an aside. the poverty thing based of lack of jewelry doesn't hold water for me. i've got a pretty impovereshed background and have been more drawn socially to folks from the same background, and in my observation. the impoverished tend to overadorn themselves with cheap gaudy jewelry to offset the impression that they are poor. like startup gangsta rappers with fake bling. granted, by that logic, the grillz video comes to mind. however, to shoot my theory in the foot once again, i think the notes about clean, plumb walls and cheap laminate are keen observations and likely to be an accurate indicator of apartment dwelling, not that this necessarily implies poverty. funky apartments don't look that nice.
