Question: How does she get so many subscribers that quick? Not that i'm jealous just curious because my first video has maybe 3 responces and I don't believe anyone has subscribed to me yet.
I'm still trying to figure out the whole YouTube thing

gecko - i think there are multiple factors that go into this, like the name of the video, name of the channel, when it is posted, and maybe most importantly, the poster pic for the video. a good looking shot of a female vblogger is always good for some hits, frankly. if its gets enough hits in the 1st day to make the top hits of the day list, i bet it takes off from there. if your video had that girl at the very beginning as its poster pic (which is always taken from the dead center of the video), i bet it would get a few more views right there. Question: How does she get so many subscribers that quick? Not that i'm jealous just curious because my first video has maybe 3 responces and I don't believe anyone has subscribed to me yet. It pains me to do this Doc, because I consider you a friend. But on this forum, it's blasphemy to suggest that anyone other than Jess (or the female mods) is the greatest woman on earth. I'm going to have to smite you for this.

My prediction is Katers will never pass Renetto. She has an initial shot of momentum, yes. But channels seem to have a natural topping out point. Filthywhore still has exposure, but nobody new is signing up anymore. She's topped out at 8500. That's because her concept is no longer novel, and people already know if they are interested. Same with Katers. I've watched a couple videos, in addition to being too long, they're nothing particularly novel. I say she tops out at 7,000 or so, and Abbegirl only a little higher.
And Quest, I gotta say it, this girl isn't good-looking enough to even be allowed near Jess's dirty laundry.

Was interesting, but I found it lame that in her 2nd video she was doing the same facial things (Actions? Movements?) as Bree. And a few new moves, too, such as the ear wiggling. Bree never did that. Yes, there are some noteworthy parallels, including her friend conveniently named Daniel. However, Kate has one thing up on Bree: You can easily imagine her as having actually read Crowley. |
