lame no payoff not even a small one. lanterns ? really is this a joke about yousef scoring a green lantern on his superhero quiz. or was it because they were on sale at target. first we see renetto or that guy in the hit man video game then trees and more trees lord where was this shot the forest moon endor. Then some people standing around like there waiting for a bus not in any formation for a sacred ceremony more like they were getting in line for the potato salad. really for the big 5 0 it was a let down

Where did you guys see Renetto? For me it's all very dark, maybe need to watch it more closely. Hmm ... Blair Witch has been done, what were they thinking? I hope this was only a decoy, and the real payoff will follow.

More!!! I couldn't even see anything, it was way too dark. THey should have at least been chanting or had Bree screaming or something.
Hope something else is posted today.
LOL it did look like Renetto (from what little I could see of the person)

More!!! I couldn't even see anything, it was way too dark. THey should have at least been chanting Or music or something! For some reason my home computer shows this much darker, i couldn't see anything last night. Watching it a bit brighter this morning, i can see a second of jess in the ceremony, it looks like some elder is taking a hood off of her. daniel takes off soon after that. This is kind of scary, really. But it didn't live up to my own hype of the event. |

This is kind of scary, really. But it didn't live up to my own hype of the event. And this is exactly the problem the creators had - nothing would or could live up to the hype we have created. It's like waiting all summer for your favorite TV show to come back and explain that season-ending cliffhanger and you find out that it was something really insignficant or it was a dream or, well, you know what I mean, right? |

With the brightness cranked you can make out a few more things. Like the dude with the nice shades and that they're out at the old Trippet Ranch and some hooded figures miling about. At around 2:11 you can see Bree. Then Daniel gets spooked. Personally I don't blame him. Sneaking around out in the woods is scary enough, but it looks like he was busted. Of course, the video is posted so he must've gotten away...right? Needless to say Bree isn't going to like this. I'm glad something got posted. It's about what I expected, though I would've liked to hear someone bust some Enochian. edit to add: Pehaps we'll see more video from the other video camera! courtesy of Way2curious from lg15 board. |

Disssssappointment. You know what would have been cool, if the figures with lanterns were kind of like the Elves when they leave Rivendell in the Two Towers. I would have liked to see the ceremony acting and dressing like that. So what if it's too otherwordly for people who after all had to drive to the ceremony like everyone else, there needs to be some "weird factor" in this! My biggest disappointment was that everything we stereotypically joked about happening came true...
While lonelyspoiler was wrong that Daniel did not run off screaming into the night at the end, it came pretty close. Also we were joking this would become Blair Witch, sadly that came true! Also too much mouth-breathing. I don't know, it just seemed like we saw this whole video from a mile away. I think the only surprise was the possible Renetto cameo (which is probably just a bald guy haha, if he was going to go all the way there (from wherever he's from, even if somewhat close by) then you would have thought his cameo would be one where you could actually get a good look at him.)
I think the only thing that can happen now to save things is for this storyline to resolve itself quickly and they get back to more Proving Science Wrong bits. The series is veering towards hokiness. I don't see how things can ever go back to "before" though after this...
(BTW, the creators were rather bold with showing the ranch sign. Are we no longer even pretending Bree lives somewhere in the middle of nowhere, as they have now placed her at a real location in California?)

Yeah, it seems you could find the location if you wanted without much trouble, as if -- and i really thought about it before typing this -- they are inviting people to do so. |
