Is it just me, or did that cat look sort of like a watcher?

"NO BREE DON'T PRESS THAT BUTTON" yelled Daniel. "why?" Bree said, click. WOOOOOO NUVCLEAR EXPLOSION!!!!EVEYRONE DIES! That has been JayHenry's sigline for as long as I can remember. Very interesting that finally, today, Danielbeast references the classic 1983 movie Wargames, where the real concern is that the computer is going to start a real nuclear war, as in Global Thermonuclear War. Other points:- The vid starts with Jess doing a voiceover, explaining what has transpired since they abandoned the car. That is new for LG15, I believe. - They are living in an abandoned warehouse and dumpster diving for their meals? There is no WAY they are not going to jonas'. I mean, short of selling their bodies for money (or selling the laptop, which is not an option) we are supposed to see they have no other options. I still say: Paul & Andrea! - Surely Bree didn't mean they could upload the video she was still recording when Daniel finally found a wifi connection? I'm not going to make a big deal about it, but you can't help notice things like that.

I don't dare say anything anymore. Watchers are watching my karma drain down and down every day.
OK, I'll say one thing. They seem to be making Daniel seem very unlikeable now. Unlikeable so he'll be easier to leave behind when they go to Jonas' house?

. Watchers are watching my karma drain down and down every day. Have some Karma and a beer Les. Yay! Not sure about the writing on the wall for Daniel, Les. My worst fears are that you are right though, reference all the behind the scenes business and his (Yousef) upcoming UK trip. Milo is correct though, at least Bree is going to stay with Jonas. This vid was supposed to make the viewer feel so bad for Bree's current state of affairs that anything would be preferable. Fairly heavy handed. I did like the editing on this one.

I need a beer. I need about 6 beers. It's been quite a day. yes, we all were supposed to feel very bad for them and want them to go to Jonas' house. And I think we were supposed to think Daniel was being a big jerk about it all.

There's really no point in making a point like "why would they spend the time looking for music and editing this video on Daniels' laptop at a public WiFi spot," is there? I guess we have to just accept that Bree and Daniel sorta compulsively set their lives to soundtracks. I think it's looking pretty likely that Bree will go stay with Jonas for awhile, but I still don't think it's very probable that they'll wipe Daniel off the series. They saw that they're playing with fire when it comes to dumping Yousef. Of course, for those who don't know, my quote is a sublime piece of microfiction written by BMOC333 an old poster at the phorum. I guess this reference to Wargames means that BMOC333 is canon.

RE: Post by Curious George and hookedonmonics...You know I'm going to post it right?
I just feel so insulted, so patronized and under estimated. I guess this story really is skewed toward 13-15-16 year olds and now I'm embarrassed by having watched it. This could have been a cool video to rent on a cold night but instead it is an F'ing Saturday Kids Special
PS That LG15 site is really dragging it's a** tonight

Interesting how Bree addresses the stuffed animal talking in this one. There was criticism both here (that they probably don't see) and at the phorum pretty unanimously calling Bree a nut for all this stuff animal talking, especially seen in the previous park movie. This was basically them trying to pull out of that spiral with Bree essentially saying ignore all that stuffed animal talking, I'm not really crazy... I just kind of do it. I bet we won't see much more of the stuffed friends any more in a comforter-type of capacity anymore.
One sort of weird thing about this episode is the fact it starts out with Bree saying so we're looking for an internet connection so we can upload this video... of course basically they're creating that for themselves because their video is all about the search for an internet connection. She mentioned a catch-22, the real catch-22 is the fact they began a search for an internet connection to upload a video about the search for an internet connection. Haha, that aside, it does make sense they'd want to find one for e-mail checking, phorum checking, etc.

The vid was a bit nicer than the previous ones. I agree that Bree acknowledging her stuffed animal habit was a reaction to the poster's reaction but nicely done. I wished they would do something more with them, instead of the cutsey interactions.
The 'plot' is handled really heavily handed though. I mean, there is plenty of things they could do to stay off the streets. Get a McJob etc. But here we show them sliding into homelessness to make us swallow the Jonas pill. I wonder if they will have the guts to really show the gritty side of living on the streets for a while, or whether this will be once again the teen television version of the streets, with the solution being: crashing at the cool skater's crib.
I guess somehow showing something realisitic and having LG15 interacting with products (from the earlier marketing announcements) doesn't quite mix too easily. Shame. I guess we'll either get a lame show with product placement or something unusual and daring without.

Well, it was a nice piece of music, at least.
I'm not too sure I pulled a "we're supposed to dislike Daniel now" vibe off this vid. They're both incredibly stressed, and Daniel is trying to be as responsible as he can while still caring for Bree. She admits as much herself. The fact of his complaining doesn't detract from the fact that he hasn't abandoned her. He knows that he could go home, and instead of doing that, he is warwalking to find an open internet connection. There isn't anything to dislike about this 18 year old boy putting his own life on hold to voluntarily stick by his homeless young friend when he doesn't have to -- he could have already told her to just hook up with Jonas.
The real catch-22 now is that the young pair should have had a possible connection with the website admin; Boris had already been in touch with Daniel back in July, and the site always remained very respectful of Bree. We can only assume that even within the Breeniverse, the site changed hands and is being administrated by someone they don't know and have no reason to contact, Todd not being in California. But it still makes no sense for the board admin to simply let the kids' situation deteriorate like this without trying to help them in some way. Obviously even the current site admin cares enough about them to maintain such an elaborate site.
The whole notion that Jonas is their *only* option is a plot hole, but I guess it's just one we'll have to accept.

Noa, I agree with DB being brave and staying with Bree, but I found they made him seem to be "mean" to Bree, not just frustrated. He's seen grumping about, yelling at her, and questioning her: if this was a novel, it would be a character development so we don't care as much about him as a character. He is so against going to Jonas' house, how can he go without a lot of major conflict?
