okay. LG15 has pointed out several things they want you to see...does that mean they don't want you to notice the star, eagle, and something else on Daniels jacket? Am being dumb thinking that the bum is way to buff and that there are peoplel and the lights are on on the "trcuk/suv the bird flies by?
And this my favorite of all...Is that the same brick structure/pattern that Gemma is standing in front of in "Episode 0085 Scared to Go Home"
so whaddya think of all that?
Am I going to loose my Karma for such gibber gabber?

Once they made the decision that Bree (and maybe Daniel) are going to Jonas' place, the creators had to figure out how to get them there. 1. by force 2. reluctantly 3. exuberantly
It appears they're going with #2, though I wouldn't mind seeing Jonas kidnap them. People are commenting on the videos saying "I'm so sick of this, go to Jonas' already." If they had gone to Jonas right away, everyone would be complaining how sudden and impulsive and stupid it was. Between the two, I prefer this even though it is quite obvious what they're doing.
However, I think I've figured out a better way to get them to Jonas' house. After deciding NOT to stay with Jonas, they find a lost pet poster with a picture of the cat they saw earlier with a $1000 reward. They capture the cat and bring it to the address listed, only to find Jonas lounging around in a silk robe and drinking a martini.

I have to wonder how they were able to get into a genuinely crappy, genuinely abandoned warehouse without getting arrested for squatting. Not to mention, eerily pacing about behind said warehouse with a laptop in hand looking like a zombie. I dunno about you, but if I saw two arguing kids in an alleyway with their laptop, walking around like that, I'd be concerned for them.
I sure hope though, that this whole warehouse thing wasn't an illegally acquired 'set' as in squatting. It was way too dirty and stuff to look like it'd ever pass any health code violations for any sort of operations, so therefor, has to be abandoned.
Other than that, I thought it was alright. A little scatter brained. Looked like they'd maybe thrown it together in about 2 hours including shooting time, probably because there hasn't been a video in almost 3 days from all canonized parties.

There's really no point in making a point like "why would they spend the time looking for music and editing this video on Daniels' laptop at a public WiFi spot," is there? I guess we have to just accept that Bree and Daniel sorta compulsively set their lives to soundtracks. This is a sentiment that I don’t agree with at all. Since I seem to be the only one interested in the topic I had decided to drop it, but you brought it up so I figured I would comment once again. All of the post production on the videos (editing, song selection, etc) is done by Bree and Daniel. It is all diegetic material. It is all a part of the story and is just as important to the story as the content of the videos. You can look at the post production work as their commentary on the content of the video. I think it gives (or if used properly could give) a lot of interesting insight into the characters and their current mindset. That is why I have a problem when it seems to be edited together in a fashion that does not reflect the mindset we are meant to believe they are in.

Actually this makes all the difference between a regular drama show (with slick editing just being part of the anticipated package), or a supposedly reality-IMS like LG15. If you lose interest in upholding this consistency, then all you are, is a regular drama show presented in a short-hand (5 minute) format. Maybe it's the time pressure, maybe they are getting sloppy, or maybe it is intentional. But the lack of at least upholding the basic premises of your show, mean you are turning it into something else.

That's not necessarily a bad thing -- Sam7 is a traditional story being told in a new format, and despite its sorrowful lack of buzz, it's very very good.
But it would have been nice to see LG15 remain true to its own roots, and see the TA guys experiment with new styles on a different show.

I completely agree with both Terry and Vanilla. My point was that this premise was abandoned so long ago that it barely warrants a mention anymore. I'm bemoaning that fact -- I think it was a blunder on their part. But this isn't an isolated incident. This sort of "reality" has been abandoned as a premise.

i've given up on holding them to the reality standard too. not that i want to give it up, but its just a lost cause. when bree said "now we can upload this" when daniel found the hotspot, of course i'm thinking, that's ridiculous, they haven't even put the video together yet, she's still filming it! but the creators are less and less wedded to the original format of the show.

Can I just say, I've been a little taken aback at Bree's attitude towards Daniel. Everyone keeps going on about Daniel being a dick now...I think Bree is. The poor guy is talking about a warm bed and his old job. Okay, that may be complaining. But her response is "Jonas has a warm bed...and you didn't even like that job!" I, personally, would feel terrible. Daniel is really putting his life on hold for her, and you really don't see appreciation from her. The least she could do is shut up about Jonas, the least she could do is be nice about everything. I'd feel awful if Daniel told me he misses his bed and his old job, and it was my fault. I don't know. I'm starting to get pissed off with Bree.

Proclaiming the death of standard, linear drama just because you put up a couple of forums is a silly thing. All I was saying is that the original premise of the show was to present Bree as a realistic vlogger, complete in her universe. Now, they probably find maintaining this premise obviously too cumbersome but it really takes a huge hammer to LG15's particular suspension of disbelief. Part of the appeal of LG15 was the reality (even though most suspected it was not 'real). Now it's just regular drama with sketchy audience participation. That's a step back in my mind, and makes their repeated claims at creating a new artform more than a little hubristic.

morninglorry...I feel a little catty saying this but did you see the look she gave the camera when Daniel wash talking about Warwalking? It was a LOT more than just rolling her eyes at his "geek-osity". I saw a look like that one in a womans face once..."Hell has no wrath..."! I have been growing tired of our Miss Bree ever since her comment in the Motel Room when Daniel ws venting and she said "Well what about MY life". It's hard to believe she was home-schooled becuase you would have had to belonged to a sorority to obtain the degree of bitch-ness she is showing. And, like any girl of that depth, she is carefullly keeping Daniel - the available guy - until she can hook the bigger, better deal of oh-so-cute-and-daring, and self-deprecating-Abercrombie and Fitch wearing-PrettyBreeBoy JOANus. At wich point she will make Daniel realize his third wheel status as painfully as possible. I know how this plays out but I don't want to ruin it for anyone. (Some say I am bitter. No I say, I think jaded or worldly is more appropriate ) cheers everyone

Cheers Slainte, very astute observation. This is definitely going to be the tale of the bigger, and better deal execeuted girlie style.
Only thing is, I don't see homeschooled Bree actually grapsing this or even contemplating this behaviour. Daniel was supposed to be the only true friend she ever had. I seriously doubt she'd go through the oh-so-familiar motions of upselling, unless she would actually have gone through Highschool-Hell and been exposed to much more popular culture that re-enforces the behaviour.
If this is all about introducing character development to Bree, then she has just skipped about five waypoints in her development and is engaging cruise control for post-twenty-something urban life.
I don't buy it. Nor is it fun to watch it happen.

Genius!! I would love to see a trail they follow unwittingly. Synchroncity right now would be sublime as would Jonas in a silk robe.
Btw, hello again everyone *wave*
