That could be a bazillion rituals. In some systems consuming meat or alcohol is seen as closing the chakras and interfering with magickal work. A fast does make sense though.
General tired comment in response to some posted here, I definately agree not blood taking as my bloods are taken from my inner arm/elbow crease. My doctor was leery of giving me iron shots in my teens too so I was just put on a diet high in iron. I like how they intentionally hide the pill packet behind her bag/coat thing.

Waggs and Temp, it's been noted several times in this thread that a B12 deficiency could not occur this quickly. There is plenty of info on the web to illustrate this. I personally have been vegan for about 10 years and I only supplement occassionally with a lozenge that goes beneath my tongue (not one you swallow as Bree does in the video). I haven't had any signs of a deficiency in the past 10 years (sidenote: my iron is also fine...it's tested whenever I give blood, never any problems).
To me, this pill thing is purely to drive plot and create a mysterious atmosphere for the story - yeah, maybe we're supposed to think Bree's involved in some kind of bloodletting exercises, or that bloodletting will be involved for the ceremony, but, c'mon, this is fiction, and I agree with Temp, they haven't done their research. They're banking on the masses who watch the vids (mostly ppl not on this forum) having had a mainstream western religious upbringing and having seen plenty of horror movies, and to "naturally" conclude that oooh..occult = evil!!!11!! I find it a little tiresome (as I know Temp does as well <3)

Mesh Flinders would know this, seeing as how his mom co-wrote Laurel's Kitchen alissabrooke.proboards56.com/index.cgi?board=creators&action=display&thread=1158349387

I'm taking b-12 because I may have Crohn's disease. I doubt that's what Bree would be taking it for though.
