All sounds a bit spooky to me. I am gutted I won't be able to watch this video until after the weekend now. Grrrr, I hope not too much happens while I am away.

Why is this any more notable, other than the fact we're aware of a scripted storyline at this point? I suppose because it was believable that the candleabra one would be posted by her - it was shot on her own webcam in her room. This was Daniel's camera - he was holding it and narrating it before he met up with her. He would've presumably then taken that camera home with him. Why sign into LG's account to post it and not his own? I know it's all a moot point, but it just seems a bit unnecessarily sloppy. |

And I know the same could be said of the Hiking and Swimming videos, but they were 'nice' videos that she was proud of, and she implied that they editted them together as a project (IIRC). Whereas this one she was upset that he was filming and she wasn't in a good frame of mind to be bothered about being entertaining for Youtube viewers.

I thought it was from Daniel's point of view and would have been posted by him too. One thing that is strange. [IC] If staying within the previous pattern, this video should have been posted by Daniel. He took it, with his camera. Since it is less than flattering to her, she would probably not let it go out like this. [OOC] It appears that they seem to have given up on the appearances, and it was probably posted under lonelygirl15, because she has of course way more subscribers and Daniel 'svideos get nowhere near as many views. It is the first time they have broken the pattern. It's a bit jarring to see them break the illusion, even if everybody knows. I guess next, we're gonna see an intro, or the website posted at the end ... hmm. |

Getting back to the "iron" pills. Why are we taking it at face value that shes telling the Daniel the truth about the pills shes taking. I think the tone of this video is supposed make us the audience and Daniel the character feel like Bree is lying about what the pills really are. She's indignant when asked about the pills and probably gives the answer she does to appease Daniel's concerns...
im just saying that based on the circumstance she's in and based on her attitude about the pills....we shouldnt necessarily think she's telling Daniel (us) the truth.

I tihnk we need to trust the things she tells Daniel. Remember she's not just telling Daniel that they are iron pills, she's telling the audience as well. I think that from the writer's perspective dialogue with Daniel is a way to get information to us, the viewers. The alternative, that we can't even trust what she tells Daniel, puts pretty much everything she says on shaky ground. Ultimately we've got no way to know if she's willing to lie to Daniel (has she lied to him in previous episodes?). But it's an interesting point to ponder. |

As Johnny says, there has to be a certain limit to what we can be unsure about. I think it is clear that whatever she tells Daniel is true. IMO sheisn't telling us directly, she just happens to be telling him whilst the camera is on.

This video strikes me as heavily influenced by the outing of The Creators(TM). They are getting farther and farther from being concerned about whether this looks like something someone would really post as a vblog. This is plot development, we are watching because we want to.
I agreed that the iron pills have to do with her diet for the ceremony.
BUT, why doesn't she want to go BOWLING? No connection to the occult there? Bowling dates back to the Egyptians. [edit: i might be joking here.]
Aside: LG15 has skyrocked to over 32,000 subscribtions on youtube now. 6,000 more than Geriatric1927, who she passed just a few days ago. And LG15 has moved to #4 on all-time most viewed list -- that's gotta be over 3 million views in the last few days.

They never say it, but it stands to reason that the footage is probably from the 11th, as she said in "House Arrest" on the 10th that Andrea and Paul had invited them to go out the next evening. It's just taken a couple of days to get edited and uploaded. True, but it can't entirely be proven. So we could just as easily assume it was the night of the 13th just as we could easily assume it was the night of the 11th. Perhaps she's being a real rebel and has snuck out more times than we think. Lol, just a theory. I still think it could be a clue as to the IC location. I agree it is the Monday night sneak out. It also could have been taped a month ago. They are filming in the LA area. Maybe a suburb town around LA. Where ever the apartment is located. I'm sure they are not going to give the exact location because 2 of the creators live in that apartment. |

That bothered me too and considering the good work the writers have been doing so far, it's hard to believe they would brake the pattern that easy. In case they really didn't, the only explanation I could find was (longshot): What if it was not really Bree who posted it, but, her "other half" Cassie, who wants to show us what the hell is going on with "Her/Bree". Bree may not realize they are the same person, but Cassie probably does and then she would probably know Bree's access password to YT. Perhaps this video will be deleted any time soon ? As a sidenote on you guys wondering if Bree must always tell the truth to Daniel and the viewers, remember the Tags on the Cassie video: Bree Tells Lyes ! |

No I don't think she wanted to be alone with Daniel, but she didn't want to go to the Alley. Remember she was all keen about going out with Andrea & Paul and seeing them again. Plus she asked if they could just come to the park?
So why did she want to stay in the park and not go to the alley? Maybe concerned someone would see her who might tell her dad. You would think Daniel would think of this rather than selfishly insisting they go to the alley!!
I find it curious that she carries iron pills in a foil wrap. Surely that's just going to alert more attention to the fact she's taking them. Why take them with her and not have them at home? (I mean, clearly it was so WE saw her take them, but still...)
I don't think they were iron pills - that was Daniel's guess, and she went along with it. She never said "oh they're iron pills"

Yeah I thought the tin foil was weird. I thought it was ex-lax or something when I saw it or Chocolate. It seemed like she broke a piece off. And she definately seemed like she was on something. She was almost slurring when she went down the slide.
Is there a way to copy the video and watch in windows media player or something so it can be brightened up? I found that watching it in full screen helped but if there is a way to lighten it up it would help.
I was happy they put up another video. I never thought it was real in the first place. I have always thought that IT IS WHAT IT IS. I never thought it was some advertising scheme. Just good ole entertainment. And now knowing that it is just a story did not phase me at all when watching it. I still enjoy it and look forward to more.

Also taking this from a literary stance, we have clearly moved from Act 1 to Act 2.
Act 1 consisted of the charming, goofy bedroom videos, "Proving Science Wrong," and the outings. This first act served to establish the characters and hook the viewers, getting us emotionally invested in Bree and Daniel. You should notice that the bedroom lighting got gradually dimmer over about the last three videos, as the story mounted tensions with Bree's visibly growing look of fatigue, her brooding about her isolation, and her growing ambivalence about the upcoming ceremony. Then she decided to go to the party, had a good time, and decided not to be under her dad's thumb anymore and we cheered.
The first part of her character arc is finished.
But now Bree is acting independently of her parents, and the tension for this second Act has to be higher, because her actions are going to increase her conflict and danger. Obviously the LG15 team is communicating this through this tone shift: darker hues, Bree acting vaguely drugged, less polished editing. Remember that the characters themselves are also experiencing heightened tension -- they may not be in-character all that inclined to fictionally cute up their footage anymore.
I'm sure this particular video probably *was* rushed because of the upheavals of the past few days. The tone shift is a little more abrupt than we are used to seeing in storytelling. But I don't think this entry is as sloppy or half-assed as people are interpreting it to be at face value.
