Did no one see this new pile of steaming shit from jonas? www.youtube.com/watch?v=-0oMI9jidRgHow did he get in his sisters room? How can this young man not remember that he did not HAVE a sister when his parents disappeared? Lonelygirl15 appears to have its own version of Alzheimers. Plotholezeimers?

Hehe, Alzheimer's really does explain a lot. "It's like someone went in their heads and pushed the reset button," hmm... so that's what happened to the creators, is it? It's all starting to be clear to me now. I just hope Will Smith doesn't show up and zap me with his super Men In Black memory eraser before the next video then. Also, how fake and cheesy were those footsteps?!

Once again, Jonas totally changes the facts of the past to suit the new storyline. Since his parents don't remember anything before getting lost, they clearly don't remember getting lost or how they got back. They just showed up one down in suburbia with a new daughter.
Maybe the first thing they remember was being lost at sea because of an accident and somehow getting rescued by the omnipresent HoO and that's how they both got back to land and actually is a viable explanation (though the odds they were just hanging out in a helicopter above the Sea of Japan waiting to recruit some new members from the sea is highly improbable...). Too bad Jonas never explained that this was the case, if it is, or if he even talked to his parents about this, or why they don't remember him still but introduced him to his sister as if he actually is their son, etc. Nothing still makes sense, worst story line yet.

It is Hye. If you didn't remember someone you wouldn't trust or believe them. Now, if they were going with Amnesia (it's getting more like 'Days of Our Lives' day by day) at least getting lost at sea is a semi-valid reason. What is Jonas's reason for not remembering that he didn't have a sister when they left??! What is the creators' excuse for not remembering that their viewers would remember this??!

I think because there are so many new episodes now and we're on like the 10th generation of LG fans now, they figured the vast majority wouldn't taken the time to watch the 200-plus episodes which transpired so long ago and just follow the story as it is now. In that case this storyline could make sense to the majority of people, due to ignorance, but a plot should not be based on ignorance.

It is just like a regular soap then after all. That's all they have made. You know how on soaps a couple will have a kid, then it will leave the show when it's two and come back six months later and it's 16? *Sigh*

I finally get it. This isn't a soap opera...this is Dadaism! From Wikipedia: "Dada thought that reason and logic had led people into the horrors of war, so the only route to salvation was to reject logic and embrace anarchy and irrationality." and this, "Dada strove to have no meaning — interpretation of Dada is dependent entirely on the viewer."
Now that I get it I kind of love it. The Breeniverse is indeed a world where a grown woman can in reality be only 6 and two grown-ups can invite a stranger claiming to be their son into their house for a friendly game of charades. Anything can happen here...it's all in how we choose to look at it. Genius.

Lola I love the thought!! Oh man, if LG15 wants to turn completely absurd with totally inexplicable things occuring at every turn, I can not only begin to embrace it but I'd absolutely LOVE it! As long as the Creators aren't trying to be serious about the storyline, why should be? I happen to love the theater of the absurd and bizzaro-worlds, so take it away Creators!

That is interesting Lola. Someone always goes down this kind of road every few episodes, hehe! I would have to disagree though. I think it could be viewed as more post-modern rather than as a dada piece of work. I mean, the creators aren't oppressed, and the shows aren't really political at all. Le Rezisto has the appearance of a rebellious political group, but it's pseudo-political. We don't even really understand what they are against.
Even though LG seems to reject 'art' (as we see in it's crappiness) I really don't think this is done intentionally. It still adheres to aesthetics. There are no ready-mades, even if episodes seem to rip off other episodes and other shows. The language isn't garbled, even if it seems to be at times. The nonsense still tries to make sense.
Dadaism kind of lead into Absurdism, and absurdism has kind of lead into postmodernism (with other things in between of course). While Dadaism and absurdism have quite distinct characteristics, post modernism is the be all and end all of the art movements where the main thing about it is really that anything goes.
So I think it is more post-modern, where it doesn't matter what the intentions of the 'artist' are, just the result. One of the defining features of postmodernism is that it takes on different meanings depending on which way you look at it and who is looking at it.

Funny you should say that. I was kinda hoping he would show up with that memory zapper and relieve us all (well at least me)of the past 6 months or so
