I saw that resistance video on Friday, but honestly I don't even know if I believe it. ---- Another self-referential-to-the-old-days title. in the mold of taylor's video last week, daniel is also moving on.

Well that was an interesting video. Any of our experts able to recognize if Daniel's room is the asame one of last year? Well we don't see the bike, and the bookshelf is different if that's the one we were able to see last year. Come to think of it even if Miles lives in the same place, he's not in the US right now so it's highly unlikely they'd have access to his apartment.
Anyway interesting episode. Interesting vantage point in the part with his dad... kind of weird how mourning Daniel took the time to set up a camera behind his unmoving dad before actually filming but whatever haha. Also you can tell that, like Bree's dad last August, Daniel's dad's arm is a young looking guy's, definitely not that of a 45-55 year old. These are all random comments, not criticisms. I like all the throwback stuff we've been seeing.
Weird how he hasn't opened the e-mail yet. I'm thinking Daniel's hiatus from vlogging will end as soon as he does read it..

I'm going to choose to believe that all the throw back names were inspired in part by our LG Classics section.
If this video had ended maybe 10-15 seconds earlier I would be singing its praises. The I'm going to stop vlogging + I haven't opened the p.monkey email seemed tacked on to me. Obviously it is meant to be foreshadowing and as Hye says, once he does read it he will be back vlogging - my problem is I don't like what it is foreshadowing, I was hoping they could\would run the duel stories of them just living their lives for more then a week or two.
Maybe they will and that is why they introduced the lame resistance vlogger. Because they believe if they don't have bang, action, mystery then all the viewers will leave. So, I'm up for watching all the 'real' characters living their lives, while el resisto goes around blowing stuff up and slowly (like over months) all the characters find new motivation and end up joining him one by one.
Also since Daniel doesn't say anything in the video (if I recall correctly) about the resistance and only does so in the video description, I choose to take that as further evidence of my theory that the resistance video was moved up in the episode order because of the flashy return of OpAphid. I can see Greg or Miles sweating in their little office when they saw that video and then looking at their un-action filled videos to come of Daniel just hanging around his house, so they figured they'd inject some early action.

Walk on try outs generally happen within a few weeks prior or during the first few weeks of classes....for BASEBALL. Football tryouts would be at the middle of Spring semester with walk ons at the end of the year before summer holiday. Daniel looks like a baseball player, not a football player. The only position I could really see him as is quarterback. He looks like a first baseman to me. |

With mention of the football team and career counselors, at first I thought the writers just screwed up hardcore and were putting him back in high school. Some very specialty schools start up earlier then regular schools. Like the a school that only teaches instrument repair or ballet ... but it seems unlikely DB is headed to one of them. This combined with the Taylor\Sarah video seem to be subtlety telling us either they are some how vlogging from the future, or the writers suck. Take your pick, I know which check box I've filled out  |

What college semester is starting right now? J No, not now so much but in a week it's completely conceivable, nay probable. So if next week is perfectly acceptable one could argue a week early is not unheard of, especially in that whacko zone of So-Cal... or Switzerland... It was my dream for the many months of insanity which was Winter and Spring 2007 that they'd just go back home and we could have some realistic vlogging about their real lives and trying to fit back into them. As Terry has mentioned, that could be possible here but unfortunately might be circumvented by an early opening of the PMonkey e-mail. There was nothing more I wanted to see then Daniel back in his room vlogging about fitting back into real life. We have half of that, come on creators please let's see the other half! I hope Terry's theory about LaRezisto sustaining the action while Daniel attempts real life is true. |

OK, to serve hyemew's wish of a return to non-Order vlogging, i hope that DB becomes the quarterback of some podunk run-down LA-area college football team, and the next 3 months of lg15 is dedicated to the team's Bad News Bears-like revival, in the hands of danielbeast. then, in the Rose Bowl, one of the opposing team's offensive lineman will turn out to be a Shadow. oh, and sarah will join DB in college and join the cheerleading team. she was a cheerleader in the past, you know. |

I actually liked this one much better than the others, not saying much given the objects of comparison...
Still, I still like DB and am kinda "proud" of how Yousef's acting chops have developed in the last year. He's come a long way from bed lounging and sulking. Well, I guess he is still kinda sulking but he at least has a valid reason now. My guess is that Mesh will write this character really well now, Last of the Mohicans.
I have this great mental picture of Apo rakishly waving is coffee cup (a la post-notCoital Joan) as he sighs and wonders what else he could be doing with his time. Right there with ya dude.
