But I do have to say I hate those people. It's really such a thing that we used to do in primary school. It went like, "First the worst, second the best, third the one with the hairy chest!" Being the worst at first meant that several kindergarteners had to invent "zero the hero." This made the 'firsts' calm down a bit! hehe But when you take on the zeros..well, you just might as well not even exist!

That meep thing is possibly even more annoying than first. Although, we're operating so much off the scale of intelligent human behaviour here it is hard to tell really.

Heheh, we better calm down. Last time the forumites complained about the meeping comment board users, they got so flamed! Actually, I wouldn't mind that happening again... it was kind of funny (in a sad way) to see some comment board users staging their own little walk outs because they were offended by the (not so unreasonable) complaints. All while the rest of them were like "no! meep! don't leave! your comments rock!"
Once I thought, gee, I should post on here and say something like "Hey, if you're all so bored, come edit the LGPedia. We could sure use some help." And then I realized I didn't want to spend 12hrs a day cleaning up theories about the ancient Mayans discovering DNA... you get the picture.

I don't doubt that there really are people out there who are like that! But this guy made me laugh out loud. "PuffyJacket55" made me laugh the most, and "It's an artform." It's so hard to keep up with all the new internet breeds that seem to emerge every two weeks! I feel so old and out of the loop sometimes! And it's kind of weird to reflect on the "good ol' days" when people had ICQ and the word blog was used more frequently by people over 65 who would mention "Joe Blogs" in a sentence with Tom, Dick and Harry, and we would all groan because it sounded so dorky. Ahh... the good ol' days.... Only two years ago, tops!

First, let me say that those firsters crack meep up...what is funnier to meep is that people get all cranky about it...since that is pretty much what the firsters are trying do.
Face it...if firsters irritate you then it's probably something a LOT deeper that is really bothering you. Try going outside and yelling at the kids to stay off your yard - or better yet if their ball goes over your fence keep it and call their parents
It's harmless hijinx...hurts no one, and makes the firster feel as though they have accomplished something - a rare opportunity for many in this world.
plus the dude makes a very valid point...maybe deeper than he intended. Without me posting first who would be the second poster? Think about it. Get your head tightly wrapped around the concept.
As for meep? I think being silly is a good thing

But I do have to say I hate those people. It's really such a thing that we used to do in primary school. It went like, "First the worst, second the best, third the one with the hairy chest!" I remember that! I also remember proclaiming in my pint-sized sing-song voice the variation of "First is the worst, second is the best, third is the one with the treasure chest." Yeah...good times. I don't mind the Firsters or Meepsayers so much anymore. But then again, I rarely read through the comments on the main page. I don't doubt that there really are people out there who are like that! But this guy made me laugh out loud. "PuffyJacket55" made me laugh the most, and "It's an artform." It's so hard to keep up with all the new internet breeds that seem to emerge every two weeks! Dude. PuffyJacket is the epitome of an awesome antagonistic screenname. Why didn't I think of creating my handle based on random articles of clothing? *looks down* Er...SkinnyJeans?

Love it, just a shame he couldn't quite stay in character the full time. That's the sort of comedy I love though, very funny.
