Don't forget "Gonzo" cub reporter looking for that big scoop stumbling awkwardly through the "crime scene" and uncovering key evidence that could crack this case wide open if only she can find a straight cop willing to fight corruption at the highest levels Priceless! Well, I guess that makes me the villain then. No japanese mobsters or muslim terrorists to be seen anywhere near this plot, gotta have the Germans then. After all, vee haff vase of mekking you tawk Herr Danielbeast! Oh, and what do you mean Bubba Ho-tep being unpolished? Anything starring Bruce Campbell doesn't need polish ... it shines all of its own

I wasn't really gone. I was just really busy on the other side of teh screen ... and, well, LG15 had gotten somewhat ... less engaging Gemmers is annoying, Jonas is a clichéd bore and yeah ... in just a couple of months there will be audience participation. So, yeah, I wasn't exactly electrified with anticipation. But now that we're decking out the new ship I'm gonna make myself useful again!

sigh, gone for the week and the whole world goes to hell in a handbasket. boybree is just so stupid, and im glad others agree with me. P. monkie has a better personality than he does, and its way better in the eye candy dept.
i couldnt agree with you guys more, that it does seem like they are building up to replace or off daniel (which would be sad as he is the only one that makes any sence in the crazy house that is now the breenievers)
After the Opahid announcement, i deicded to look into those vids too. the most recent one is just stupid. its just a camera panning back and forth and some moving of objects, a 2 year old would be able to look for something better. and if they are trying to catch bree wouldnt it be better to hide out in the bathroom?? there is defenitly a lack effort now.
as for the phorum ppl, i havent been there since the CiW incident when that was all that they talked about in every topic, but mew, you should def stay on as a admin, cheerleaders of the breeniverse should not be the only ones on/running the phorum otherwise the c's wont get nearly as much neg feedback and the whole thing will fall apart even more.
oh well back to watching deathnote on youtube. at least its more interesting

I am sort of surprised at this negative reaction. I'm no fan of Gemmers, OpAphd, or Nikki (ESPECIALLY not Nikki), but this is the first LG15 offshoot I've seen that holds much promise to be entertaining. I remember when everyone hated Danielbeast, and now he's everyone's favorite. I'm gonna give this kid a chance.
I don't really buy that this is a "boring" or "cliche" plotline. What's any more cliche about this than about a lonely, 16-year-old homeschooler who sits in her room all day? What's any less believeable about it than about a sweet, funny, beautiful girl who only has one friend and belongs to a creepy pseudoreligous cult? Our attraction to the LG15 series demonstrates that we can still fall for a storyline that might be a little bit trite or far-fetched. So I guess I'm a tad suspicious about whether this outburst is really resulting from anything that bad about Jonas, or whether people are really just resistant to new stuff as they long for a return to the days of Bree's cute, funny antics in her bedroom. I can understand that, because I miss the old Bree too.

You got it, molly. I don't think these new characters are that much more unbelievable than Bree, it's just that we know they're fake from the start. People are even annoyed with Bree's character at this point, but at least she had that honeymoon period where we accepted everything from her cause she might be real. If we didn't know Jonas was fake, people would focus on his good looks and his apparently skilled if cheesy editing. His unbelievable story, if true, would be interesting.

Well, the problem is that the main part of the show has really lost its tension. The LG15 plot (if anything) is really trite at this point. It just seems that they really made this up as they went along, and there never was a point to it in the first place. A conceit your audience does not suffer lightly. My problem then with Gemmers and Jonas is that, they chose to add these peripheral characters to simply coment on this already waning plot. It just re-enforces the lameness in my mind. Unless they step it up a little, or give the peripheral characters a story of their own, I stand by my opinion that this is fast becoming clichéd and boring.
