good job terry, thanks for moving what appears to be a convergence of stories into once place!
ETA: Pretty much everyone here likely knows that IRC information for discussion is available at lg15today.blogspot.com. i believe on freenode its #maddison or #hymnofone.

I'm getting more and more confused by the moment. How, exactly, are Lofi, Maddy, and RedEarth related? (15/15 seems pretty Meta at the moment.)
RedEarth mentioned Lofi in her vids, and Lofi has always had this weird connection with Maddy... Wait, wait, what happened to Zipp?
This is what I get for not following Maddy closer...
/me goes to reorganize a playlist.

Coming out of anchor cove lurking to say hello, and that I (and some other members of the irc) are attempting to keep an up to date list of videos and summary here - loftypines.org/15/. Okay, back to lurking.

As I understand it (and I could be way way off) the connection goes like this. There was a Maddy drop in London. There was also a LoFi puzzle that had to be solved by today. The solution to the LoFi puzzle was similar to the signature of the note at the Maddy drop. From this people discovered the 15over15 youtube account and website. The Youtube account has messages for Clara and Linc on it. Then there is the connection between Linc and RedEarth as they went on a date that Linc secretly arranged. What it all means and why they are connected, who knows?

Some stuff I know about Linc...
In April, he was in the maddison chat a lot, and was often saying things in relation to Maddison's character that made many of us suspect he was canon, or involed at least somehow. I can remember him asking how he could help, which seemed weird to us because why would he ask how he could specifically help? It almost seemed like there was something more he could do than the rest of us.
Then just before chapter one ended, Linc told us he had to go away for a few days. After looking on his youtube profile, and seeing that there was OpAphid stuff posted there too, pre-dating MA, we just decided he was a pretty good fan fic. We know he is canon now, but I have no idea if he was back then. I doubt it though.
I think Jeromy is just good at making links (no pun intended) with pre-existing projects (OpAphid, LG) and still having a plot that makes sense. However, if Jeromy is tying things together - could this absence actually have some significance to Maddison's death? Hmm... something to think about, anyway. Or it could just be nothing!
I think that what has happened is, Jeromy created MA in hope of the LG15 creator's picking it up, and as that didn't happen he has now collaborated with others, like Linc and Glenn, to continue the story.

I think you're right, Elixir. After all, I was only following (and just watching the vids at that) Maddy Atkins before this: now, I'm into Red Earth, Lofi Syndicate, and MA. The intertwining of storylines is great cross-advertising for all three properties--regardless of whether or not they're connected. For anyone who's interested in catching up on any of the stories...

I think my favourite part of all these crossovers is how they have caused some of the lurkers up in the rafters of Anchor Cove to drop down let us know what they think.

Just to add a few words about the Linc connection, toward the end of Maddy part one Linc was apparently on his way to Nacogdoches to save or rescue Maddy, and after her death his last video was him in a public restroom crying. He hadn't been heard of again until Clara appeared on the scene and Maddy part two began.
As Elixir said many suspected Linc might be canon to Maddy, I at the time listed Linc as possibly canon, but there was a lot of fanfic at the time so it was very confusing. But I think Elixir is right most likely there is some collaboration going on among different authors.
Yesterday was exciting though, it was a surprise to me when the three story lines all connected together, first Clara and Linc, then even more surprizing Linc and Rachael.

So that's where he went. I should have paid more attention to him, but as it was assumed as fan fic, I didn't. You're right at the time there was so much fan fic, I couldn't keep up, lol. But now I'm sure this will be worked into the plot. But I think Elixir is right most likely there is some collaboration going on among different authors. I think so, because it is a great way to generate success among independent, but talented writers/actors etc. I applaud them for working this out together. However I definitely think Jeromy is working on all of them. Yesterday was exciting though, it was a surprise to me when the three story lines all connected together, first Clara and Linc, then even more surprizing Linc and Rachael. It was great. Confusing, but great. It did get me all excited and nostalgic for early LG days, especially since there are many new people posting here too, it's great. I know, I said great too many times... but it is GREAT!

Once again, I climb out on the soap branch:
Obviously this whole project is being "managed" well. It appears as this is a well coordinated venture involving several auteurs riffing off the LG project, even if distantly. To give credit to the c's, this is the kind of thing they encouraged although I don't think they can take any credit for this. They opened up the door for this kind of thing and it is obvious that the New Kidz play the game a lot smarter than they do.
Organization, planning, writing, and imagination will trump sponsorship dollars on this small scale. All those laments were heard from Greg and Miles about money seem even more lame after seeing what can be done on (what I assume to be) a fairly small production budget. Being of the "punk rock" generation, the idea of amateurs (or low budget pros) producing low-fi work with immense passion is what attracted me to this medium in the first place. Cool stuff!
Meanwhile, we have big-budget KM which shows very little momentum out of the gate... To be fair, it's really too early to pass judgment on it but the track record is not a good one with those two. They need to be looking over their shoulders to see what can be done on a limited budget. Hell, they should have seen what CiW did and learned from that way back when...
And no Milo, I don't think this is going to get a whole lot of attention from the powers that be at the new and improved Phorum 3.0. Shiny flashy buttons do not equal passion.
