OK, this is lonelygirls 1st video posted on YouTube. It is also the first of two videos she did before she "got" her webcam. 1. The video is a simple response to paytoorderofofof2's (a prominent youtuber) claim that a dinosaur ate her house. 2. In the comments, lonelygirl15 makes the first indication of the existence of daniel, though not by name: "thanks, my friend helped me out with the editing. can't take all the credit, but it was my idea " 3. This video was posted on May 24, 2006. 12 days earlier, on May 12, the lonelygirl15.com domain was registered. This timing issue raised the first real issue about whether Bree was real or fake.

The use of the cover of "Mad World" indicates that the producers are video/film "heads" .
This song only became known when included on the Donnie Darko soundtrack. This has always pointed me in the direction that the producers were music video vets or wannabees who have really studyed their craft.

It is NOT Tears for Fears. It is a cover of the song, by Michael Andrews. Not a "hit" in the states, but did get airplay in the UK when the DD soundtrack came out.
It is a haunting arrangement of the original. Highly recomended!

it really was a huge mainstream hit, at least here in germany, whereas donnie darko is just now gaining popularity. i don't think when it was in the charts anyone ever made donnie darko references. i also never saw bree as someone "cool" enough to know dinosaur comics. www.qwantz.com

This has always pointed me in the direction that the producers were music video vets or wannabees who have really studyed their craft. This observation was pretty accurate. Of course, it was made after the Creators revealed themselves. OK, this is lonelygirls 1st video posted on YouTube. It is also the first of two videos she did before she "got" her webcam. 1. Daniel's origins revealed. Paytotheorderofof2 is still plugging along, she was among the most subscribed/viewed at the time and has long since fallen off the charts. Of the early Tubers who inspired the original WannaBree, only TheWineKone and Brookers remain at the top of the charts. Do we know who did the animation? FLWright <edit> And who is SoCalGirl?
