Thank you for posting these links, milowent. It was the most fun I have had watching lg15 response videos. It's nice to see some friction within the lg15 and Opaphid ranks. I wonder where this all will lead. (Hopefully, there will be no pro-Jonas video deluge coming up.)

The music goes along perfectly with that. All us Covers should sign onto The Anti-Jonas Campaign.

I don’t really have anything against Jonas. I don’t mind the addition of new characters. I don’t mind if those new characters are not particularly interesting (you only need a couple great characters that can play off the more mundane ones). I even don’t mind if they add some camera candy. My complaints about the show are limited to the storyline, and how that story is being told.
If I got to vote someone out of LG it would be the nondescript Order.

While I am not the biggest Jonas fan, at least something is happening. This also possibly sets up Daniel to have his heroic rescuer moment, once (not if) Jonas goes whacky I was not really surprised that this was pushed down the viewer's throats, after all, the interactivity element was always left really vague. So far, they have not said that it would be a voting mechanism that should decide how the plot is evolving (reference: 'not a CYOA)'. Since hiring actors and writing plot is time consuming, I am not too shocked they asserted their authorship here. Then again, I don't want to be apologetic for their conduct indefinitely. It's still pretty heavy-handed, and breaks suspension of disbelief because they make themselves so visible here. Unless they make a clearer statement of how they perceive the interaction to be implemented, I'll let them get away with this one, there is just no telling yet if this was a bug or a feature Like I wrote in my entry in the 'Jumping the Shark' thread, I believe, the real acid test for this new kind of media will be the realtionship between authorship and interactivity. As long as this demarkation line is left blurry, there will always be unsatisfying moments of their all-too-visible hand moving their characters in places we don't think they should go. The whole test was pretty lame though, I wished they had thought of something less obvious.

I'm not going to do a vid myself, but I challenge someone to do one using Wheatus' song "Punk-Assed Bitch."
