well, whaddya know. Jules is homeschooled. who woulda thunkit? (see jules' latest blog) Just thought I'd add a link to said (crappy) blog Mi EscuelaRecap:Jules complains about being homeschooled in Spanish. "No tengo gusto," she says. I suppose she meant, "I don't like it", but "no tengo gusto" literally translates to "I have no taste". How wonderfully unintentional, Jules! You have no taste. Your writer has no taste, or skills, for that matter. In short, another trite, horribly written script, with a Spanish translation even worse than what BabelFish would ever come up with. I'll leave you with this tidbit, which is pretty illustrative of the quality of this blog: So, I've been homeschooled for several years. Which means I don't get to interact with friends or other people like public schools do. So, I guess that's why I enjoy making videos.

Wow, it might not be possible but I actually think Jules's acting in Mi Escuela is WORSE than it was in her first ones... the writing isn't great, but at least if she had the proper inflection and could act it properly it wouldn't have been THIS bad. Her performance is downright horrendous.

It reminds me of being in middle school, in English class, watching kids do oral reports including memorized literature they don't really understand. I'm gonna go throw up now.

Anyone notice how heavy Jules's makeup was in that video? It's like the c's read how everyone thought she looked 12 so they decided to ham it up. It looked so trampy. I wonder what her oh-so-strict parents said when they saw her waste 40min. slathering on that eyeshadow. And yes, her acting hasn't gotten any better--but neither has the writing. I doubt even Jessica could pull off such dumbass lines like "Making videos is so fun. Like the one with my cat. It was so silly." Obviously Jess would have been better, but it's impossible for that script to have come out great.

Well yes, it is for certain that this script was dumbfoundingly simple. If you actually parse through the script, you'll realize that it's actually just a jumble of the same 10 words arranged in various patterns: 1. parents 2. video(s) 3. so 4. fun 5. homeschooled 6. enjoy 7. making 8. something 9. study(ing) 10. *anything Spanish and grammatically incorrect*
I'm not even joking. If I was the actress and handed this script, I would have refused to do it unless I could at the very least simply change some of the word usages so that they weren't so darn repetitive. If you check my list, almost every single one of those words managed to be uttered no less than 3 times in 73 seconds. It's freaking unbelievable. Worst of all is her love of the phrase 'making videos': "Making videos is so fun... I may have to stop making the videos... So, I guess that's why I enjoy making videos." Add her quote of "As you can tell, my parents make me study a lot" to it and that's her making or being made to do something 4 times in what amounts to a paragraph!
A close second example for most frusteratingly-poor scripting goes to the last few lines of it, which I think speak for themselves: "So, I've been homeschooled for several years... So, I guess that's why I enjoy making videos. So, I'm gonna try to make more videos and stay in touch with everyone... So adios, and good bye."
Do you know any other words? I can't imagine this number of so's could possible have been existed together in the same script, despite her blatantly dry-right-from-memorization reading of it, but since the reading is so wooden it's very hard to tell! And very annoying either way! I think the question now is who is the faux-Mesh writer behind this travesty and why have the Creators chosen to unleash him on an undeserving fanbase!?

Bad news, everyone. Jules is definitely the ceremony girl (or at least I think so). Check out her new blog post on her myspace. Here's some of it. I edited it for brevity. Yep, she used the quote from the Hymn of One email... and Cameron will never be as "special" as she is because she has "a higher purpose". Sound like Bree much? ETA: Now we know that the "potential" required to do the ceremony has nothing to do with intelligence, good looks, or rapping skillz.

hahaha, watch the video from the perspective that it is the actress apologizing for her awful job and her writer's pathetic scripts and it's so so great that way. Here's the link to the video: Hear Me OutFunny how Bree could have used many of those excuses, but never had to because her videos were always amusing and interesting anyway. And Jules, we get it. You can't pronounce the languages because you're "never heard them" and because you just started. If that's the case, then you haven't been studying them long enough to be complaining so much about just how much you have to study languages. argh. Warning: She does rap again for a couple of lines...

Thanks milo for adding the link for me.
I didn't want to be the one to say it, but I agree milo. slightly less annoying. I think she needs to give up on being chipper, then she'll come off as a bit more real.
