emerging.tv/?p=30article: New original webseries: a VMIX and IFC partnershipIFC [that's the independent film channel] and VMIX [another youtube type clone? it says it was "Created by executives from Universal Music Group, Fox Studios, Apple Computer and MP3.com"], have teamed up together for an original webseries, Getting Away with Murder. Could it be the next Prom Queen? I’m guessing no. It has nothing to do with the quality of the show, it looks like it could be funny, but it has everything to do with where it is watched. Prom Queen, produced by Michael Eisner’s Torante company, is watched on MySpace and could be the reason for its success. Some reports have Prom Queen getting 200,000 views per day, which is just slightly less than the number of unique monthly users VMIX has on its website according to Quantcast. And that is the good news, Prom Queen has more than 4 times the number of people watching it daily than IFC has at its website monthly. And also unlike Prom Queen, I see no sponsor. ==== Trailer video: www.vmix.com/view.php?id=2417531¤t_resourceid=2417531&type=videoLooks like it premeired yesterday.Main site link: www.ifc.com/static/sections/gettingawaywithmurder/The About section:

Seth Silver (porn star name?) sounds like a lameass. well, it looks like there are two episodes up, i'll watch those first. it looks a more tarantino-influenced type production than Bree.
