Episode 8 was released yesterday, it appears to be slated for at least 26 episodes. I watched the pilot and one other random episode - seems cute, not edgy at all.

you just gave away my secret for finding new IMSs. :-)
the webisode terminology appears to date back to the late 1990s.

It's cute, but the acting is on the level of porn. Pretty crappy acting.

I watched the most recent one, episode 12. It was soooooo boring.
"I don't need a damn thing" at 2:55.. I can't write it here but the way damn was said was totally off. It was supposed to be I don't need a damn thing, excentuation on damn. Instead she says it was an upward inflection, totally defeating the purpose of even using damn.
The background music was soooo hokey, the script was really lame, especially the section after she gets back from shopping. The bad acting was only intensified by the awful script she had to work with.
I also love how kristy, in her hour of need, bothered to sign her text -kristy. Does anyone actually sign their text messages to best friends as such, as if they weren't going to be in her directory already? You can clearly see that because of that the phone shows up "from kristy" at top, with kristy signing it two lines below. I guess you have to drive the point home to the audience that IT'S KRISTY.

Also, the series title Girl For Rent... it's cute based on the subject matter, but in reality if anyone just heard that flat out it totally sounds like prostitution.
