I'm voting for The Man...because then it could be Daniel, YouTube, Revv (or whatever that thing is). It's win-win! Truthfully, I really have no clue.

Long ago in that far away place at steroegum.com (seems so long ago doesn't it), the careful, quiet, and never seen since "annabanana" mentioned she worked for the LG15 thing at one point. Said it was about religion.
Out of all the possers we've encountered on LG15, I don't think she was one. Her story rang true for a host of reasons. Well, heck here's her posts:
"its a religious thing, ita all bought and paid for, and in about two weeks it'll be clear as day. thee is a reason no one ever flubs a line, stutters, makes a mistake etc, and it ain't editing. but I can't say more."
Another commenter asked if LG15 was going to turn out to be "jesus" or a second coming thing, annabanna replied:
"oh no - she's not - and I'm not on any religion's team, and i think the whole project is creepy and gross; but i'm just part of the work for hire posse that did some work for the project. i think there will be more disclosers with better info, (alot of people who worked on it feel really gross and dirty as i do) but my rent is too high to be careless."
-annabanana Aug. 23rd.....
I voted for "other"-- meaning a religious production.

Hey Joe, Do you have any links to those comments? There are certainly elements to it that seem like one of those little pamphlets certain denominations of Christianity give you to warn you about the devil. Maybe, but- having seen several of those videos and read several of those books, I would say that lonelygirl15 is too compelling and complex to be put out by fundamentalist Christians.

I voted 'other' meaning religion OR a small team involved in the media, certainly not a large corporation

and I'm not on any religion's team, and i think the whole project is creepy and gross; but i'm just part of the work for hire posse that did some work for the project. i think there will be more disclosers with better info, (alot of people who worked on it feel really gross and dirty as i do) This line of inquiry is, to be honest, the only thing keeping me interested at the moment. It nags at me that there is a set up in progress, a rather slow and ponderous one. Even though they have lucked out in finding someone as charismatic as 'Bree', the reveals have been slightly clumsy (the picture on the wall etc), and the plot arc veers between opaque and tranparent. This could be a mark of adolescent amateurism. or it could be that the storytellers are used to a world of good and evil, black and white, right and wrong. Perhaps they've done a stint in this kind of thing: www.religioustolerance.org/hallo_he.htm. But they're media savvy, they know they can do better than that. Evangelists learning subtlety... Now that would be a new phenomenon!

i think it's most likely a religious production.... but probably not a Christian one. I am devoutly Christian. I minored in biblical studies. My wife is a Pastor. I teach adult bible study at my church... Honestly .... Christian Mass Media attempts are usually painfully haphazard and amateurish at best.... I say it with love, but an aweful lot of Christian productions simply lack any sort of talent or subtlety.... there are a few christian companies, that i know of, who put out top notch media work but they are few and far between.... (nooma springs to mind: www.nooma.com/)also the odds are pretty slim that any Christians who could pull off something like this would pick thelema as their chosen target... it's too obscure.... too small.... a Christian video series of this nature would most likely take aim at a larger "threat" like atheism, mormonism, scientology or wicca.... my bet is that the lg15 vids are a subtle attempt to gain publicity for Thelema....

Though I do agree with you about the quality & creativity of Christian media (most christian musicians are either very adult contemporary or sound annoyingly like something popular in the secular mainstream), I'd have to say that christian media also tends to be slightly uneducated about the occult and such. I don't assume that the presence of Crowley's pic on the wall points to a religion associated with him. I think it's just meant to be sinister- you're supposed to know that nothing good can come from Bree's beliefs. I think that given the investigation that is involved with solving this mystery, it's too in-depth and subtle a production to be a Christian evangelism video.
