You know, one thing I've been thinking about is that I have friends who have made amateur film type things. They have all the equipment they need (they pool resources), they get friends to help out, and it's all just for fun. An example of this is www.thepizzaguymovie.comI was actually thinking, in some ways, this seems like something those friends would do, just for fun. And, no one would give up information if they did. So, what I'm saying is, I'm sure there are other groups of people like my friends. People love to be in on a prank and feel like they are part of it. So, in the Lonelygirl15 case, it could just be that people HAVE recognized her, perhaps contacted her, congratulated her, or even if they haven't contacted her, just decided to be "in on it" so that in the end they can say, "Yeah, I knew who she was the whole time."

Truthfully, I think the press has been paid off or something too. Why is her picture not front page news or on Extra, etc on national TV? And that TMZ article keeps bugging me. In fact I think I'm going to write them.

That would be very dishonorable for journalists to be paid off, but it wouldn't surprise me.
