Is it possible that the creators are trying to keep all the publicity for themselves and get Ms. Rose out of the picture? Since we haven't heard from her yet, I'm apt to believe they are strictly holding her to her non-disclosure agreement and don't want her talking. She would take the show from them.
My hunch is that the creators are being unfair but it is still too early to tell. I hope that they will allow her to talk as this could be her chance to set herself apart from other aspiring actresses.

I bet that is correct, let's hope that there is not Trouble in Denmark.
The NDA could be either a good thing for Jessica at this point or a bad one. It all depends on how the creators (small c after the reveal) react to her getting most of the attention. If they are pros, they know the talent is the one the public wants to REALLY know about, not the wizards behind the curtain.
Considering her age, the NDA could help her stay out of the spotlight and give her time to consult with her family/friends and get a good agent. I think she has a future as a comedic actress, I can easily see her doing a sitcom.
Even a cheesy one, the camera lurves that girl...

On second thought, it is already too late for Ms. Rose. NBC will not do another story on this just to interview her. She is missing her 15 minutes of fame, probably do to the selfishness of the creators. This will be old news in 24 hours; if she isn't out there soon she'll be forgotten by the mainstream media and one of her best chances to bet noticed big time. I think she needs legal help to get her out of the NDA. Volunteers?

I got the same feeling when I saw them on the news last night. They way they stood there like they were the big hit. Yes, without the idea there would be no Bree, but without Jessica, Bree might not have been as interesting. They should be giving credit where credit is due. I think it's pretty funny how they still will not tell us who plays "Daniel." In VH's blog they call him "Daniel." They need to get with the program. Well, our program. lol I think they might shoot themselves in the foot. But they did give her some exposure. It's good start. Well, I am sure the creators realise that without the girl, they got no game.
With all the recent publicity Jessica might be able to get a better deal, so I am sure they will clamp down on the NDA and exclusivity. Then again, depending on how good the creator's gameplan is, it might actually be better to ride this wave to the top, instead of being mercenary and jumping ship. If this is really the 10 month contract that is being alluded to, she could get her agent get cracking on follow-up work, while she finishes this off, all the while using the current publicity. Production timelines for anything major is much much slower, so this might not be a problem at all.
But I am sure there is some trouble in creator paradise, and the fact that she doesn't get to at least do some interviews is a sign of that. Well, or they're playing the bidding market for an exclusive. That would be a bit precarious though, because on the mainstream's radar this is probably the tiniest blip there is.
