Thanks everyone for finding the Flickr account, but I'm still not sure what it means. In the meantime, Mallory called... - Daniel Faction: THE RESISTANCE www.lg15.com/lonelygirl15/?p=342

I hope this girl isn't a part of the order. For the most part I didn't mind this one. It had more of a natural vlog feel to it.

Mo realism is mo bettah. I don't remember all the casting call information, but I hope that this character is not just a one-off. It's funny how I find the mundane more interesting than any of the cloak and dagger stuff. Perhaps I really do want our old friend DB just to have a normal life, have some beers, go on some dates, etc. Not sure about why we never heard of her before or maybe I just was not paying attention that closely... It would be beyond trite to have her be a Juanite.

Yes I hope we see more of her too, and with her I hope more normality emerges in the characters lives. There is nothing wrong with using the cloak and dagger technique, but you have to know how to use it. It just hasn't been executed properly, and it's just been, well, over-killed. If dramatic things are happening as often as they do, especially when no resolution comes at the end of them most of the time, it is easy to grow tired and bored of it. There is a real art in using 'the everyday' to convey a story and evoke emotion from your audience (this is actually used in an art form in film, I just forget the name of it... need to remember! Sorry for rambling...this is gonna bug me now, lol). Anyway, there's just so much you can take out of 'the everyday.' But even just to bring some more realism back into the series, I think, is a wise move. I mean, they want their audience to relate after all, don't they? ETA: Okay this is off topic, but it's bugging me. Does anyone know? Is it the Theatre of Enlightenment that uses 'the everyday' to convey a message of a higher power (god), spirituality and the human condition? Is there even such thing as the Theatre of Enlightenment... or did I make it up? lol

Well, I enjoyed the somewhat normalness of this video. But there was little "hot" about this date. I didn't see Daniel opening doors for her like a gentleman should (and I doubt he did). He should have taken her dancing.

I liked this one. Nice to see Daniel's character liven up and enjoy himself once and a while.

Do you think Mallory might be the character called "Virginia" from the Season 2 casting call?

She could be. Part of me is thinking they will just do away with her as Daniel gets more and more into his Order fighting. I hope not though. It would add some interest to see Daniel balance his old friends, Order fighting, and a new girl who knows nothing about any of it. Sure the "I have a secret life" storyline has been done, but it's a classic one. It could be fun to watch. I dunno... anything would be better than a repeat of last season.
