But no, I never shed a tear, and I'm honestly surprised anyone else did. And I'm an overly emotional person, I had to stop watching The Corporation at times as I found it too overwhelming. Raging female hormones have a lot to answer for

is it over? Can I open my eyes now? I siccesssfully missed ALL 12 episodes....Now if the feeding frenzy is over I'll watch em tonight. OR Should I just skip it and watch the last one so I can cry about Bree too and save some time? Please advise Oh, just watch them all, you know you want to. The quality is uneven, but they're entertaining (and affecting, if one is an emotional slob like some of *us*). It won't take you that long. But watch them on Myspace, despite your dislike for it--I can't get on to LG15.com at all right now, it appears to be down.

This would necessitate another few years of mourning, but for all we know they'll be shooting the breeze and playing foosball by Tuesday. When my mother died I was back to my normal self quite quickly. I even came home from her funeral and played/danced around with my friends. People cope with things differently and all don't end up on a couch or a rubber room or an emotional reck for years on end. And the ceremony, Alex said there is a line between HOO and Order. This was for the Order, Not the HOO. The HOO is just their front and used it as such to gain membership I am sure. The HOO were told lies. If we remember correctly Bree's "Parents" could not even attend the Ceremony, so why would anyone from the HOO see it take place/know what really happens.

My boyfriend had to tell me multiple times that Bree isn't real and that Jessica is still alive ((duh, Justin, thanks, like I didn't know that)) but I still kept crying. This sweet, innocent, all around good girl, had to die. For nothing. It is a waste.

I don't think I realized the emotional effect that the recent events might have on some of you until I read JayHenry's post above. I arrived late, and my experience here has always been as a fan watching a show.
It hadn't occured to me how some of you might be emotionally vested, having once seen Bree as real.

I think the death was more poignant because she was totally aware that it was her fate and had accepted it, even planned for it. If she had been psychobree to the very end and believed in the hymn of one crap it wouldn't have had the same impact. The fact that in all the spaced out hymn of one ads she was actually lucid and putting on an act makes you think more about the loneliness (pardon the pun) and inner turmoil she must have been going through, and makes you view some of the past episodes differently. Now when I look back to her in the cabin being a bitch and not communicating properly with Daniel and the others I don't see a brainwashed naive girl but someone who has had to grow up all at once and probably can't even communicate due to the life or death choices that are floating around in her head.
The fact that the old bree came back (and was even there all along underneath the brainwashed act) makes what she went through, and her eventual submission, even more sad.

Apo, I practically wasted my whole summer last summer doing this. Constantly. The board, the 'sleuthing', everything. I am wicked seriously emotionally vested in this, hahaha. It feels like I just went though a really terrible breakup.

It feels like I just went though a really terrible breakup. Now I am beginning to understand everyone's feelings a little better. I am familiar with the rich history involved with the hunt for the reality behind LG15, but it just didn't hit home for me like it did for most of you. Maybe I should feel lucky I came in late. I still wish I had met you all back then.

Another tidbit of info: The first time I ever went to New York was due to LG15. I went to a web sleuthing seminar with Virgina Heffernan.

But hey, that was a long time ago and it's time to move it along. Like several, the meta of watching IMS and web video develop before our eyes is the deal now Apo. Phan vids included, you not so mediocre YT auteur .

in my first blog about lg15 last august, i came out and emphatically said "the whole thing is a big fake." but i still felt a connection with the old bree from the beginning. and i felt sad to let her go. and i will feel sadder yet if lg15 is renamed spencer's playhouse as of monday.

Someone stop me, I'm watching the early ones @_@
Oh, and the song that was used in the Hiking Video, Brilliant Daze, I think that song pretty much sums up the whole damned series.
