I have/had such a personal attatchment to this show... I feel like... I don't know how I feel, but, it isn't good. I feel like my heart is breaking. Fuck. i feel like its like a college graduation or sumthin right now. bree left class a long time ago, but now we really know she's gone. Hi all, just migrated from LG15,b/c it is down ,found this place thanx to a link from Milo on myspace.... Wow. I left after Video 9. Came back at a little after 12 and finished the last three.
I cried. Not too much, but Daniel. He made me cry. That boy has heart. And I feel for him. (tears up again).
I am just still in shock.
Did Sarah have a black eye?
I read the first two pages of this thread, but i just can't read anymore right now. I need to take a break.
And thanks for letting us new people crash in your Cove for the day. We were all treated nicely with no attitude or snobby comments.

i've never commented much, but i just wanted to say i really appreciated you covites for being funny and snarky and smart. don't want to rain on everyone's emotional goodbye, but goddamn i hated this. the excellent camerawork just proves that they could have been that good all along, instead of out-of-focus jumpy action sequences where we're left wondering what on earth just happened and they actually have to tell us in the next video. the death of bree was unavoidable (jess has to go be lindsay lohan now) but still knocks the wind out of a sweet little show. the best part has always been bree, and without her it's not worth slogging through the poor writing and plot craters. the bottom line for me: we fell in love with a character, not a format. at least, i did. and i fell in love with funny, smart, personal vlogs, not airport hangar hiding and stabbings. i'm glad they came up with this idea, but they're obviously just in it for the money now, and beating the heck out of this dead horse is obnoxious.
and yeah, just like everybody said, if she's so smart, why is she essentially committing suicide to save them from the order, then asking them to watch her die and get back to the order fighting? awful, awful writing.
all that bad stuff said, lonelygirl15 was a really great little show for awhile, and then it was just really fun to come anchor coving. so, i'm definitely done now. thanks again, snarkophiles. it was fun. bye bye.

I think I am in the minority for hating this last video. They should have stopped at 11. 11 was raw and real and emotional. This one was a giant ball of retcon and nonsensical retcon at that. After running away for months, seeing her own father get killed, and being brainwashed she just decided to give up and give the Order what it wants and not tell her friends first.
If she wanted the Order to stop chasing them she could have killed herself and that would have worked too, plus it would have had the added bonus of not giving her enemy everything they wanted. She betrayed her friends and put them in more danger for months by not telling them her plan and all just so she wouldn't have to worry about them being in danger... that is bad thinking on an epic scale and I haven't even touched on the hypocrisy of telling them to go after other girls. I don't like that my final memory of Bree will be her doing a stupid, cowardly, retarded act for no real reason.
But the Bree I loved disappeared a long long time ago. This was more just her shadow finally fading away into nothing.
Of course Bree may be gone forever, but the real question is will P.Monkey, Owen and Thor return? If not I demand an animated (or stop motion) spinoff of their adventures fighting The Order's plush animal sect.

I just woke up and felt like it was all a bad dream. The first thing I said this morning was 'I can't believe Bree is really dead' I guess I was more attached to LG than I thought, even towards the end. With the clarity of having slept since I watched the videos, there were several flaws and parts that made me cringe, but above all I am glad that the creators finally had the balls to do this.
