Mesh directed this one, so I guess it is no surprise that it reminds me of the early vids that reflected his original Creative (dorky teen) vision. I liked the fact that Spencer was encouraging people to stop e-mailing him and that he didn't think he could help, much less obvious than Joan's awkward first braggadocio vids.
The Neutrogena placement was not overt and handled well. I would prefer Dorkiness to cheezy sex any day! I am optimistically encouraged. Yeah!

I really liked this one, the camera falling was great. I dont think it seems too forced and it does come across as natural but funny. He is good (Ok who the fuck smited/smote me, I was happy at 70! It's a nice solid perky number)

Definitely a lot better! I love the way he colour-coordinated his outfit to his decor. Hehehe...
It came across fairly natural. I hope it stays that way. Besides uber-sexed up teens, LonelyDax15 is the last thing I want to see. So if they keep it natural, funny, and don't let the neutrogena product placement take over, I think Spencer could be good for the series.

Yes, this is a welcome relief from the irksome videos of recent date. He seems natural and is a distinct character from the rest of the ensemble. But I'm not letting them of the hook yet. They are apparently going to play up the "Origin of Life" angle. There are a couple of clues to this, the Wikipedia article on Stanley Miller who Spencer lists as one of his heroes states "His research dealt with the origin of life" and on Spencer's page on Neutrogena.com it says "His area of study was ribozymes with a special focus on autocatalysis", "autoctalysis" also refers to theories on the origin of life. My concern is how they are going to make any sense of this in context of the Lg15 story. I wonder if Neutrogena has given them access to "experts" to advise them on scientific issues. Besides uber-sexed up teens, LonelyDax15 is the last thing I want to see. I am a little embarrassed to admit it, but I kind of like Daxflame. *shrugs*

hee hee heeee...I agree CG. Dorkiness over cheesy sex. Kinda remindes me of my high school "stats". j/k I was really cool I swear! I'm looking forward to the (I am guessing comic) relief this character can bring to the story. Here's hoping he will snap us out of the kidnap, rescue, runs, shag and whine, kidnap, rescue, runs, shag and whine...doldrums that have dominated the summer so far! oh and ALissa...LOF'ingL!!! I was positive that would be your reaction. You like the bad boys it is clear! Be gentle with this boy...he seems to have substance. ELixer...at the risk of sounding a little to aware of interior decorating and mens fashion if you get my drift - I nooticed the color coordination too. I figured someone at Neutragena (probably the boy in my phprum avatar) insisted on it!

I'm sorry guys, but that's the way it is. Probably the most significant line of dialogue in the series. Hmm, and a suspiciously colour-coordinated scientist. I'm sure he'll be able to figure out this week's McGuffin, compound, was it? As far as title's go, now we've seen it all, haven't we? Well, I am still holding my breath for 'Django is the Cowboy?' and 'For a Handful of Compounds', maybe even 'Raiders of the Lost Bunker'.

Hmmm a "MacGuffin" sounds a lot like what we've been calling "Pink Herrings", the difference seems to be a MacGuffin motivates the characters, while pink herrings motivate the Phorumites.

Slainte-- That's not true! My boyfriend is TOTALLY geeky. Something about this one rubs me the wrong way, though. I dunno. I just didn't like him very much at all.
Puke.

I LOVED IT. I came as soon as the video was on revver but there wasn't a thread yet, and I've never made one before so I waited a little and am back to sayyyyyy, I loved it! I don't know why but this kid is great. I loved the line about Way to go Dad!..Just kidding. I don't know, I haven't enjoyed a video this much in a whileeeee.
And I find it hilarious that you didn't like it Alissa, because I always seem to disagree with you on things like this! You probably don't notice it because i'm not on that often, but I always seem to. Quite different tastes haha.
Not that I'm too attracted to Spencer, or anything. I just really like this character.
