Oh God the tears! The tears! The first pull-out-all-the-stops tearjerkfest of a lg15 episode!

That was.... awkward.
Less blog like and more movie-like.
And of course he was telling her it was a bad idea. He was right too.

An aspect of much comment is the funeral footage, which of course was far more "flashbacky" than it was something which would have actually been videotaped (and with such high res no less!). Even if it was, fans are wondering how DB would have access to home movies from Jonas's house. And something I just thought of is that it appeared to be two little kids frolicking, presumably one is DB, however he was 16 when his grandmother died in the story so... it was actually just two random kids?
Also what I dislike is that while it was at a cemetery, it was at one of those flat stone abominations which I hate! Seriously, you can't tell the places are cemeteries, its just a flat expanse. And try finding a grave there. Needle in a haystack. At least at upright places you might spy the name from afar, or if you know the right section you should be able to see it right away. At a flat stone place if you aren't directly over the grave you aren't able to read it, and consider most cemeteries have many thousand stones... That has nothing to do with the story, but I think the frolicking at the cemetery scene would have been much more effective if it was at an upright stone place because that'd make it apparent they actually were at a cemetery. That said, the cursed tradition of flat stone cemeteries began in SoCal (read Evelyn Waugh's "The Loved One") and populate it greatly.

i have to laugh at us LG fans, because we complain at the fast cycle of kidnap-return with the order., but this time around, people are complaining because they want bree back faster. I think they're doing a much better job of the order disappearance scenario, even if it is Jess' fault

Man, preparing us for the loss of Jess? If she ever comes back I'm going to cherish every last moment we have together! Thanks, DB!

That was okay but the flashbacks don't really make much sense if it's a vlog, unless Daniel just found random houses, kids, and ham sandwiches...

YT comments are saying they are greenscreening the study onto the background now. Maybe its because I just woke up but i can't see anything glaringly obvious (its supposed to be around 1.45-50)

The YT comments have been saying that the study is green-screened since we first saw it. I started to think it was too, until Bree actually pulled some books out of it once. But I suppose that doesn't mean it isn't green-screened now. ETA: Actually, after watching again, it does look a bit different. Or is it just more of a close up?

I see no reason what so ever for them to green screen the study, unless they are still in "Texas", which I am quite sure they never were actually in. The house is near LA, they are in LA, so why would there be a green screen? I do think they haven't been there in such a long time that the camera has been re-set up in there and the shot is different.

A weird of amalgamation of vlogging and movie editing (miles style) in that one. i guess some would call this a "filler episode," but I usually like the vlogs which tell a story of their own. of course we've never heard of Daniel's grandmother and how he was important to her life before, but I liked the story.
I didn't notice any green-screening. that is greg's dad's study, so I don't see them losing access to it.
ETA: daniel's family seems the complete opposite of bree's. bree's parents met in england, and moved around the world. her dad is some kind of doctor. daniel is the son of two drunks who did little parenting, and with a grandma who was a card cheat!

Please god please do not add Daniels grandmother to this mess...I'm sure she was a sweet old lady but if it turns out she had something to do with the Order, Gay Aiens, Hymn of One or anything remotely associated with Bree, Joan or Joans/Bree's parents my head will explode

Haha, I didn't know it was Gregs dads study, I've been out of the loop for too long, this is what happens when physics exams take over your life!
