I think this was a BetterBree than we have seen for some time now. Jess didn't seem like she was phoning in her performance and seemed engaged in the role. As silly as the plot is, I didn't really notice it while watching this vid. She owns the vlog format.

As an aside, I am beginning to realize how hard it will be to have another actor step in and try to fill her tanktop (no, not that way Jay ). I mean, when her "game" is on, she is really pretty darn good at this thing... I think Yousef is still my fave though!

"bree" seems relieved to be free of the ceremony obligations. her last few vlogs, just her at the bunker desk, have been enjoyable to watch despite having to buy the plotlines.

Jess shows again she's a fantastic "natural" vlogger. It's hard to think of anyone who comes close. She's going to be very hard to replace.

From what I can tell, most of them are complaining that now we have to hear about Jules in every video. Three out of the five last videos have included Bree mentioning something about Jules. The other two are Running For Life and Intervention. If you count the Nikki B video, that's 4 out of 6 videos shoving Jules down our throats.
I couldn't make it through the whole thread, but as far as I read, the only person who has anything good to say about Jules is Lurker. And he's not loving her, he said "I don't have anything against Jules. I somewhat like her, truth be told." When "somewhat like" is your best review, better take a hint.
I'm hoping this is only going on because the episodes were filmed in advance. Maybe in a month she'll be written out, or sacrificed to the Hymn of One fermata god.

My guess? It is over. (at least for me) And the introduction of this underaged girl is a suicide note

Not much to say about this episode. Yes, Jess is the queen at vloging, and this is the best we've seen her for a while. But it's really not even close to being anywhere near the same. Shoving Jules down our throats isn't helping either.

I doubt if there will be another jumping the shark thread, I don't think anyone is engaged enough to start one or to reply to one. The problems have been discussed and debated ad nauseam, the plot holes and loose ends listed, and categorized. The most significant being after eight months since the ceremony was supposed to be held we still have no idea what the ceremony is, or why it is so important. There have been several major turning points, in brief, the let down on the 10/12/06 ceremony date, the abandonment of Thelema and Crowley ( due to Tannhaus's complaints, although they have been brought back recently, too late), the making of Opaphid canon, the loss of OpAphid, and now the "new girl, possibly the last straw.

The "new girl" could of been brilliant if they had been able to pull it off, if we had discovered this girl on our own, and it had created a deja vu phenomena, mirorring the original loneygirl15 phenomena.
But it has turned into a fiasco, having a girl nobody seems to like and nobody would of noticed if she had not been pointed out to us over and over, and seemingly forced down our throats.

Wait! I think I see a glimmer of hope! In this video, Bree says that Jules updated her blog. That's right, Jules doesn't have a new video, just a new blog entry on her myspace account. Let's keep it that way creators! Let the next blog entry be "Dad Took Away The Webcam".
On her blogs she also says that people have made fun of her for her crappy pronounciation of foreign languages, and excuses it by saying that she doesn't get to hear anyone speak them because she just uses books. Apparently her father insists that just knowing them is the important thing. Wuteva, she still can't blame her books and flashcards for getting entire phrases wrong. Surely they would read "Je m'appelle", "Yo me llamo", "Ich heiße", and not "Am I called Jules?".

This is the first video I've watched since the horrible "Psychological Torture".
As much as I really do not want to see "Jules" be the new Ceremony Girl (And as much as I hate this new Ceremony Girl search and storyline as well...)
I have to say I really liked this video.
Bree was great and very likeable. I hope we get more Bree vlogs soon.

I have been doing some extensive web research on bungee jumping. (Translation:I have been goofing off from work this afternoon). I've "discovered" some very interesting things:

Original jumping was done with jungle vines by the Vanuatu islanders in the South Pacific.

Bungy is Kiwi for big rubber band. (And Kiwi for Bungee)
