I don't really know what to say about this one. It was kind of nice to hear a story of Bree's old life, but other than that. It was a bit of a nothing episode. Another mention of Jules... Noooo! ETA: Oh yes, and "those two have been going at it...." teeheehee  |

i hope myspace paid them something, but i doubt it!  the breestory was nice. still seems inconsistent with the early episodes to say the dad was not as strict as the mom. |

I agree Milo, Daniel was always going on about the Dad. And it was the Dad that wanted him to film Bree's play. Bree also talked about going to her Mum for sympathy after she snuck out. *Sigh* Oh well, maybe we can settle this by just saying her Dad was the nice one but he was just more protective of his girl. Or that Bree, being a teenager plays good cop, bad cop with her parents.... Don't ask me why I'm trying to fix this plot hole! LOL, I don't even know why!  |

I agree the story was inconsistent. She was like well my dad became less into the religion later on-- yes this is true when later on is the last couple months he was alive. They have brought that back to when she was 13 though, which is a misuse of the story, implanting recent changes retroactively.

Bree.. Shut the fuck up! Let the guy drink his brains out! It doesnt matter anymore.. Your PG-13-ness went off of the window many chapters ago.. It's not like you are going to save his great acting career as a hollywood star at this point.. ;D DB was completly right when he said he is the one acting more normally.. More like anyone would expect from a human being.. Not that he is less of a acoholic looser for that.. But I can see why he drinks and I'm sure he would do some dope if he had some available.. Maybe some pot? Crack? Cocaine? Peyote? Yaguasca? I really would go and buy some beer and join him for a real party DB! ;D Think about it: You spend several months with this tight ass virgin and we she decides to grow up a little bit, stop masturbating with her stuffed velvet lovers and get some real men she falls for a homosexual alien with a flawed idea of Peter Pann as his role in life.. Man, that needs a drink or two, maybe 6 or 15..  And when a real woman comes into play she turns out to be too real for an almost-men like DB..  But there is something worst than that.. DB's problem is of a superior nature: You remember those days missing in which they do not remember anything? Well.. DB is begining to remember.. And he cant get over it.. Truth is they were all drugged annd Bree turned into a dominatrix virgin and forced him to have homosexual intercourse with the alien while she was feeding him canned dog food.. The order caught it all in tape and they are ready to blackmail them anytime they want. ;D That would explain why Jonas is so happy lately, why he is so worried about his loved DB, why Bree is trying so hard to drive attention away from her into this 12-year old, why the order wont take them seriously anymore, why Alex droped DB specially and the rest of them like she did and finally why they went into hiding in the mountains. ;D I'm sorry if you dindt figure this out yet and I spoiled the story.. ;D |

I wasn't sure whether to post this here or on the callmejules24 thread--I guess it's kind of related to both.
After I complained so much about Jules, I was kind of worried. So many people at the forum and comment boards were complaining a ton too, and I wondered, if she's so horrible, maybe she really is fanfic!
Don't get me wrong, it's a decent effort if it really was just something this girl pulled together herself. Maybe Nikki B just thought she was cute and decided to mention her. Maybe the c's didn't think it would do any harm to shine a spotlight on some fanfic. Maybe she was just trying to be a part of this and we all bashed her. But that was a lot of maybes so I didn't think about it too much.
And then Bree mentions her... AGAIN. Nice! Now I don't have to worry. All I can say is, shame on you, creators for putting together such a trite character. You give Glenn the boot, along with Oppy, Tachy and Bro, and you come up with this??? <----ok, now I'm really OT

I wouldn't worry too much- what are the odds a random fanfic would just show up posting and the Cs would be like "NOW! After 8 months of saying we want fanfic but won't actually support any of them!" suddenly decide this random girl was worth promoting? And promoting not just by Nikki B. but Bree too- including even showing her myspace page and everything. Come on, don't be naive, this is the Cs we're talking about here.

I wonder which was less likely, the creators giving credit for some totally random fanfic that wasn't even on Revver orrrr the c's making a totally crappy^ (999^999) new character? I was starting to think they were all fanfic, and the C's would be in a dilemma if the one of the fanfic girls turned out to be really good. Because it then would be hard to introduce a canon character in this role. But it seems what happened is Jules is canon and nobody likes her. Which is a slightly different dilemma Come on, a thirteen y.o. with braces? I don't think they ever understood the demographic of their fan base, it was intelligent, educated 20- 35 mostly, but now as the story has gotten sillier and sillier they are quickly loosing them. |

This is right on the money, and my thoughts exactly. If they just accepted that this show's audience is (or should I say was...), as you say mainly intelligent 20-35 year-olds, and kept tailoring the episodes to this demographic instead of trying to convince them selves that it is 13 year olds that hold most of their fan base, the direction that this series took could have been brilliant. |
