so bree is the new, silent cameraman? i guess that's one way to film an episode without her. not very believable that she would just back up from the car and quietly film while the order vehicles surround them and jonas pulls a gun. :-\

Apart from the Dalex moments, I was enjoying the video. I had even convinced myself that Bree had laryngitis... but then... "dum, dum, dummm" - The Order returns!

What Alex said about the "other girl," and that she only had one more thing to do was interesting.... intriguing even. But Bree not uttering a word? They could have at least pre-recorded some dialogue. I mean Jonas threw a rock at her, and she didn't flinch? Then Jonas got a gun from no where, and not a word from Bree.

And I agree CG - yikes! lol

the lack of jessica REALLY being there was a bit weak, but i guess having to deal with jess' schedule it was handled relatively well (though i agree with elixir -- they could have overdubbed bree saying something).

It did look like lucy who pulled up. Is Alex the other "girl" who is going to do the ceremony by any chance? I assume not, if the long forgotten "purity bond" is still a requirement for doing the ceremony.

Started out kinda nice...turned to quite shocking. I certainly don't mean the car pulling up. Jonas got a little scary there. Jackson is turning into a real acting asset.
Daniel gets points for continuing to be the dorky jealous teenager. Alex is simply dreamy.

Soooooo, that must've been stunned silence that we were hearing from Bree then?
Now that they have someone else for the ceremony I suppose they can just get jobs and go on with thier lives? They have quite quite a bit to digest first though. Now what do they do?

well,well,well...I have had Spring Breaks that ended worse than this one- I mean girls may have been kidnapped and but no one ever pulled a gun as far as I can remember.

I know many of you are thinking that it was the "Order" that appeared from nowhere to snatch "lil' Bits" or Bree.

I think that was actually the Fashion Police cracking down on these dorks for wearing long pants on the beach or for not "tanning" before they go.

Bitsy really should be careful out there; she don't need no epogen she needs SPF45!

Now for those who still get suckered into thinking the C's are giving us little hints hidden in the video's may I submit the image below:



Please note the appearance of a white van in the side view mirror. Is that a cowboy behind the wheel?

Is he looking to hook up with DB again or does he have his eyes on Joan? I have to say that Joan does look awful butch holding that "hand cannon"

( it could just be the production van or the catering truck caught in the frame; perhaps it is just an optical illusion. In any case the creature thread is bound to investigate)


ETA: all seriousness aside..I am really bummed that it has come to someone pulling out a gun. Really. is this what the "C's" think we want? Is this how they plan on wooing commercial sponsorship?

Yeah, I know, Bree's dad got shot but that was the bad guys doing the shooting. Yeah, there was the elevator thing but a flash-bang is a lot less lethal than a handgun, and Joan seemed awfully anxious to use it. I don't know...maybe I'm just in a peace-nick mood...where is my granola?

I think more significant than Jonas pulling a gun is Alex's line "They don't need you anymore, Bree. They have another girl!"

I am assuming this means that the Watchers are no longer going to watching, OpAphid is no longer going to be cyphering (I know there is another reason for this), Lucy is no longer going to be stalking, and the Order in general is not going to have any interest in Bree anymore.

This also means that we will never find out what the hell the Ceremony was all about, why it was so important to the Order that they would murder Bree's Dad, what the drugs they were giving Bree were for, ect .

Some on the LG15 forum, are speculating that they are going to introduce a new character, "the new girl", my guess is that we will never get to meet this "new girl". This is just a way for them to roll up all the loose ends and bury them.

This is what happens when the c's pay too much attention to the forum and comments board... "BO-ring!", "I want action ", "Where's kick-ass Bree, yo". "another pointless video"...
It's like they're not sure how to make videos interesting without pulling a gun or some other cliche action scene. Mind you, if they could at least pull these off convincingly, I wouldn't mind as much.
Sooo, does this mean the Ceremony will go the way of the Cowboy?
I agree with Rob that we're probably never meeting this girl or even learning who did the Ceremony; it does seem that they're burying those loose ends. Oh well, maybe we can have a fresh start with a plot that they can actually do right?!

PG-13 my ass!!

So far we have seen: Kidnaping, murder, unexplicit sex and alcochol, firearms, ilegal detention, breaking into cars and houses, etc.. Just what I was thinking any kid should learn this days!

When the vid hit the 2 minute mark and nothing had happened yet it was obvious what was coming.. The allmighty order! Woooo.. I'm so scared!! ;D

The funiest moment was when Jonas draws the gun and decides to point it to.. DB!! LOL! Wait a minute.. I thought you had cleared your differences from the other vid! BTW.. Does anyone remembers who are the bad guys? DB protecting Alex, Bree standing there as if nothing was going on.. LOL!

Its so poor I can't help to laugh.. Oh god! I like it!

In my earlier post, I said "shoot me, I'm being hopeful"... well you know what? Hell yeah this video makes me hopeful, wanna know why? Because there's a teensy weensy chance that this is the LAST we'll hear of the runaway-get caught-escape cycle! The Order gets another girl to do the ceremony, Bree's off the hook, BDJ go back to Jonas's house and maybe Alex gets him his brainwashed parents back. DB can go to junior college and Bree can go back to posting funny videos... *sigh*
Realistic? Of course not, but it could be my dream come true! Sure it's a lame way to dig themselves out of the whole ceremony, Order, Watchers and OpAphid stuff--but as long as it's over and done with, I don't care!
I think it was Hye awhile back that says he didn't even care if she woke up and went, "oh wow it was all a dream". That would have been even better, but oh well, you take what you can get.

I am cautiously optimistic about this also. As MMG are learning how to do this as they go along, I am hoping that they have learned something from the various debacles.

I am going to go out on my branch and say that they can't make it any worse , especially with regards to the plot and logic structure. The mock vlog format is such a goldmine (IMHO) for delivering some pretty engaging "drama" if done correctly.

Oh, and yes I still do see some potential in these guys to make this a better production. As I said, cautiously optimistic...
