I liked the first part, as I do any vid where it just seems like kidz fooling around with a camera.
I loved HammeredDaniel and BuzzedJoan! I don't think there is a price I would not pay to have footage of myself throwing down with my buddies at that age...
Ahhh youth.

This is like a sitcom now complete with hokey vacation episodes. To complete that Disney Land is definitely next (due to proximity, though Disney World is where all the sitcoms actually go- see Full House for the most famous example of this though basically every ABC show has done it since the merger with Disney.)
Haha how Bree said "... and I don't want sin". Daniel has to defend his dorkiness haha.
Oh and you can discern Kelly Clarkson in the background in the middle, so once again copyright issue there haha. Wow when Drunkus and Daniel stumble up, Bree lets out a really weird and for no apparent reason scream. Kinda sad they're drunk in the day, and glad Bree addressed the Daniel doesn't drink anymore thing, since he did at the party without it being addressed shortly after he poured his heard out about not drinking.
I don't really know what to make of this episode, there were pros and cons, but then one second Bree is somehow attempting to carry Jonas and then all of the sudden they're running and screaming?! An unseen watcher found them? I'm sorry but that was PAINFULLY lame. I mean this is the plot progression "we decided to randomly go to Vegas, the 8000th place we've gone in the past two months, and yes once again we were found for the 8000th time and so ran around for a bit and then took the time to upload this episode.
Just watching them run through a crowded city with everyone else acting normal just made me think of how embarrassing it might have been for them and how paranoid it makes everyone seem, real or fake. I mean this is Vegas, there are a lot of weirdos, are you sure the weirdos you saw are even the Order? I don't know and I don't care, I hate the Order so much for ruining this series.
By the way, after this rather critical post it reminds me of how I received a couple of messages today from a phorumite reprimanding me for "stabbing the creators in the back" by taking the freedom of opinion they give to us by letting us talk about the episodes and being constantly critical. Also called me a Benedict Arnold. I just found it funny how they lauded the Creators for giving us freedom to discuss (as if there should be any doubt? This isn't the USSR) and furthermore how this phorumite was implying this freedom should only apply to saying nice things. Oh wow, we have the freedom to say whatever nice things we want, "Goodbye Lenin!"

Also called me a Benedict Arnold. per hye's post and terry's quote, i continually fail to see how only praising the creators would help them succeed. if anything, it gives them a false sense of their work, and its already hard enough in L.A. to find honest people. if you don't call them out for Taking Jonas To The Vet, it only will downslide (if its possible) from there.

I feel like Bree saying this was their last video should be raising some eyebrows. Or at least warrant some comments.
Right?!

I feel like Bree saying this was their last video should be raising some eyebrows. Or at least warrant some comments. Right?! Not really. 'Let's not upload any videos anymore', uhm yeah after uploading this one real quick. They threatened it before and it never happened. This will probably be another throw-away line. It could also be a lead-in to them changing the format of the series, as discussed on the phorum. There wasn't much to like about this episode, really, except for the whacky music during the chase scene. It's funny when you listen to them on Mixed Media, on how they say they are so careful and creative with producing this stuff, only these days Vegas, Baby! is the output. We should have totally predicated that title, btw. Wer're slacking off.

Cross posted at ye olde phorum:
Sooooo, I slogged through all the posts so far and the consensus seems to be that most folks liked the first part and thought the "chase" scene was not so good.
I think this is an excellent metaphor for the series as a whole. The most appealing thing about this series has always been the personal interactions and/or revelations between the characters. When the c's try to add "drama" things just appear absurd and forced. No doubt in my mind that this is due to budget restrictions, but the budget restrictions are a reality and they just need to face up to this cold hard fact and should stop doing things that they can't afford to do.
As for the "no more videos" issue: Duh! I do hope that this is a preamble to them addressing the "Who Sees What..." issue. I hope that they have worked out a way to do this by now, it's really silly that the protagonists have been broadcasting themselves out for the Orderites to watch for so long. Just absurd really.
If this is what they are up to then I really think that this opens up the story for all kinds of really cool stuff. Imagine "private vlogs" by Lucy and Aunt Alex ( and Op and Tachy) ! This "mechanical device" would allow the writers to go down all kinds of avenues if they did not have to worry about the characters being able to "see" all the vids, and hence not to worry about constantly alerting the other side or their plans. It's also a great opportunity to ramp up the in character phorum threads and the ARG elements.
I am cautiously optimistic.

I feel like Bree saying this was their last video should be raising some eyebrows. Or at least warrant some comments. Right?! well, it is worth mentioning. and then its worth a chuckle, kinda. that was all over the phorum. BUT, as vanilla posted, its another empty threat obviously. if it does foreshadow the coming of "private videos" (Which is something the Creators proposed last month on the phorum), i am slightly hopeful.

didn't they say there would be some private videos? i thought they said they would be introduced in a set way, to confirm only the viewers can see the video.

I liked this video in the beginning - the scene in the hotel was cute, the acting was natural. I did think it was a little weird that Jonas and Daniel were drunk in the middle of the day. I've never been there, but I would imagine Vegas is somewhat strict about carding people? We know Daniel lost his fake ID... did they get a homeless guy to buy them 40's and drink them in the alley? When they started running from the order, I couldn't help but wonder - why is the order chasing them? We know that Bree must choose to do the ceremony of her own free will, so what will the order accomplish with stalking her and running her down? I'm sure it doesn't make her want to do them any favors.

I had the same thought pill about free will would mean there should be no chasing, though they've kidnapped Daniel in the past so perhaps they'd do something bad to the boys again. They wouldn't touch Bree but there's no guarantees on the others it seems (for people so big on free will the spin art stuff seems odd though). I am by no means defending this chase scene though, it was stupid.

This is like a sitcom now complete with hokey vacation episodes. Hahahahaha! I was having a drink when I read your comment and you made me almost spurt coca-cola out of my nose! Now my nose stings! Ouch, ouch, ouch! Oh the bubbles.... I pretty much agree with everything you just said. But for me the best thing about this episode was getting to laugh at your comment. It is just so true!
