OK, I liked the music in the background, this whole episode had a kind of light and soft feel to it which was nice. I liked her lines, esp. the one about waiting for her hands to stop shaking after the espresso. Yousef was very playful and that was quite good.
Some cons include - Yousef's accidental slip up of being on the run from the order was pretty forced, though he dealt with what he was given pretty well. That said, it's a good thing he didn't explain any more because as I was hearing him starting to try to explain this whole on the run and order thing it really makes you realize how absurd the whole thing is.
Another con from the first second was the artsy high res camera. I know they see that as an improvement, but personally I want to watch vlogs and not cinema-quality picture. It really takes away from the "regular guys making vlogs" feel to it.
And anyone else find Jonas's kissing of his aunt a little weird? I mean I know they did that to reinforce their relation, but as Jonas said he hasn't seen her in YEARS and that things were awkward between them. Suddenly he's lavishing kisses sweetly upon her head?

Jonas isn't going to let a little thing like being a blood relative stop him. You think Bree got crazy? Jonas is a couple steps away from tying up Daniel and kidnapping his aunt. Then he's going to dress up in his Batman costume, cause he thinks he's Bruce Wayne. |

In kind of a Princess Leia kissing Luke before they swung across the gap kind of way I suppose it's creepy.
This is my favourite LG15 video for weeks, maybe months. Other than the forced "we're on the run" bit this is like old times. Just people in an interactive vlog format. Obviously more going on between the two than the dialogue, great background music, good interupt by Jonas who tells Daniel with a look that he knows what he's up to and it's not helping his aunt film a video, good stuff.
The problem has NOT been Jessica, it's what they have done with her character and the crazy story. Aunt Alex creates all kinds of possibilities, including DB crushing on someone who is sane. And Aunt Alex, I will NOT use her real name, can act. Get them trapped at the Aunt's house and this has potential again.

oh brother...another stinker in the can.
What was the purpose of this episode? Was it to make DB look more like a dork, or that he is willing to "blow their cover" just to impress Auntie? Perhaps it was to reinforce the idea that Joan is afraid Bitsy will GAYlienate DB's affections.
They did take the opportunity to shoe horn in some crap about college girls and self-esteem and judgment about physical appearance - wow how very hip!
(incidentally, did DB actually say "fancy-shmancy?" because with that kind of Oscar level script writing they should really reconsider recent decisions)
Is Auntie sending some kind of message through her quirky facial movements and rapping fingers? Was it the POW Morse Code message for "torture"? (for those of you who remember that) or something more complex like "Oh my God, get me out of here before my non-career is totally ruined"
She is right about one thing...when you see her on camera she looks totally ridiculous.
Wait, I know. This was a "set-up" episode for the next adventure where DB and Joan go to the DVD rental store and discover that their entire lives are available in a three disk box set.

well, this is loads better than the Taking Jonas To The Vet debacle. clearly the aunt would want some explanation for why jonas and daniel broke into her house to stay there while she's away, but apparently she doesn't.
but the title of this video and the reference to sexism in the workplace were surreal indeed.
