and so...the vet was kind enough to not only plug the hole in Joans' hand - no questions asked - but was willing to prescribe pain killers as well.
I may be mistaken but I don't think a Vet can write for Vicoden etc. So that would mean that Joan has a scrip for Ketamin or some animal grade pain killer.
Woo Hoo!!!! Party at Aunties house tonight!
about the scrapbook...there is reference to a former CIA director among others! Please, please tell me it is George Bush - oh what fun that would be! Maybe a cameo of GB and Barbara at some later date!
And if GB is implicated that would mean that Skull and Bones is no doubt involved - or at least informed. And if S&B is in the picture than the Illuminate is sure to be as well.
The plot thickens or something

My Hand Hurts? Idiotic title. What the hell... so Jonas hasn't seen his aunt since the exact year his parents disappeared, yet he just happens to live in the area and knew she'd be away on business AND that she'd have secret material stashed away in her locked office. I don't get it! Things are "awkward" between them and she hasn't known what to say to him since he was 13, yet she just so happened to call him last week and let him know for no apparent reason that she'd be gone on a business trip in the upcoming days. What?? I mean there is NO other arguement for how he could have found that out ahead of time. Presumably Jonas has no other family, as has already been wondered, since his maid took care of him and raised him. Now this aunt has suddenly pops out of the woodwork, but there can't be any MORE neglectful relatives that might have relayed the message of this business trip and secret stuff in the drawer... could there? I love mythologies as much as the next guy, but this whole Jonas's aunt bit is absurd. Not an ounce of it makes sense. You can't have a mythology centered around a thing which makes no sense. I also love how Jonas says "you know, I wish my aunt was here right now." I laughed, imaging if she WAS there right now seeing Jonas, someone she hasn't talked to in at least 5 years (except for that random call last week to let him know she'd be gone from the house for the next week) breaking into her office and rummaging through her stuff. Yeah she'd love to see him too. This episode is definitely in my top 10 of stupidest ever. I mean even the ones in the past I didn't like for some ridiculous reason (like Bree's dad being murdered), I didn't hate this. I basically hate this one for perpetuating what was already a very flimsy Aunt plotline that lacks all believability. And I mean it's not real, so I shouldn't be surprised, but the cliche' coincidentalness of Jonas, who just randomly happened to find Bree from being a fan of her's, just happens to be the son of Order fighters. I guess they were just meant to find each other! Personally though, this whole realization of all his parents and their Order-fighting history, at the same time he just happens to hook up with (figuratively and...) a girl running from the Order is cliche' beyond belief. Who's writing this crap?! They seriously gather around a table for "writer's meetings" and come up with THIS?! Interesting sidenote, I was going to look back through all the CIA Directors on wikipedia to see if any actually have died mysterious deaths (and I presumed none had, thus invalidating what Jonas said about all those people in the file having died mysteriously). In fact, en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Colby died in 1996 in a BOATING accident. "The accident was highly suspicious" and there are some who knew him that claim he was murdered. While I'm sure the Creators never intended this, interesting coincidence.

um, how did he get in the office? I know a screwdriver went through his hand, but did this open the door? I just think it's funny that the past couple of episodes have been agonizing over getting in, and tirelessly working at it, and this episodes starts off with "well, here I am in my aunt's office.." oh, of course. Other than that, I'm getting tired of the actors throwing in lines like "i know this is crazy, but stay with me" or whatever it was he said. Is that supposed to make us go, what the hell?! oh..wait..the creators know this is crazy too. okay, then I'll go along with it. As long as we're BOTH aware it's stupid.

Time to take my own advice and take a break. I gave up on the series 3 episodes ago. It looks like my timing was perfect.

hmm...did Jess put in her two weeks or som'n? Very Jonas centric direction here, eh? I suppose that was to be expected. Eventually we'll meet other kids getting jerked around by the order and the story will follow them for a while. So, is there anything to Jonas getting stigmata'd here? Also, possibly on the angel dust?

Do the creators think of the plot as a whole or just write one episode at a time?

Terry, you crack me up ("like a egg"). I think you have given up on LG more times than me!
Trash: With Easter (and of course Good Friday) quickly approaching, the stigmata reference may indeed be meaningful. I'm not sure what - if any - religious affiliation the authors may have but it sure seems like they gave up "plausibility" for Lent.
...and Morningglory. I don't know if my praise works for you or against you but you really "pegged" it in your post.
Joan punctures his hand in a long , drasn-out and ultimately inept attempt to open an interior door (even though he broke in to the house and disabled the security within minutes). What happened while they were at the Vet's? Well I know this sounds crazy but I think the "Door Unlocking Fairy" visited Aunties house while they were getting whacked out of their skulls on Ketamine.

There never was any plausibility to give up.
I really think it's more like... their sanities that they surrendered for lent, but the same could be argued.
Weird vid. And kinda pointless. It only served to give us more details on this foundation his parents started.
And it got me wondering.... unless in the Breeniverse, 'The Order' is a very widespread entity, how 'lucky' (if that's the right word) is it that Jonas found Bree on the internet?
But that's about as thought provoking as this one was for me.

the coincidence idea is just too ridiculous to consider. C'mon. Nothing is too ridiculous to consider! ;D That's the motto of the Breeniverse. It's printed on the money there. If there's ever a video with a shot of a dollar bill, freeze-frame, zoom-in, and enhance the image. I'm sure you'll see those words along with a portrait of Crowley.

Well...it isn't too ridiculous,. I have been researching aliens from the Planet Lavender for years and years and it was only by chance that I discovered this travelogue.
