not that i really care, but something that struck me right away... when they're in the car, driving jonas to the vet, who's holding the camera? also, i appreciated the realistic use of the F-bomb in this vid.

I thought the same thing SP...Bree even takes a moment to look right into the camera while DB is driving. I'm probably going to be in trouble for pointing this out but taking Joan to a Vet to get stitched up in order to stay "under the radar" is just about the dumbest thing they have asked us to believe so far. Fido!!! C'mon....really that's just too much. No?

I love Bree's hopeless cries of "I can help... I can fix this..." It would have been great if she was actually a Paris Gellar type of character, one of those in control at all times domineering type of characters. Then it would have been really effective. Bree's not so much, so it kind of just seemed like desperation, but interesting none the less.
And yeah in the car, I can't tell if she has both hands down on Jonas's arm, but there's no way she's holding the camera in one and her hand on Jonas's wound with the other.
I wonder if you went to a vet with a wound and said hi my name's Fido, fix me. Would they actually do it....... (no).

This is.... a really strange video. I'm not sure strange even describes it really. I honestly think if 3 teenagers walked into a vet's office and one of them is obvioualy bleeding profusely and then said teenagers asked to be seen by the vet... I'd call the cops. Because my first instinct is that something's wrong with someone there.
A vet wouldn't know how to fix a human wound. And legally, they couldn't do that either. If something went wrong, they'd be liable. No vet would want that risk.
I could deal with them having us try to believe most of the other stuff, but I draw the line here. I've grown up in a medically oriented family and this is just too fake for my tastes.
Go to a flipping hospital. Sheesh.
It's not like the Order had even been violent towards Bree, you know? I... just cannot get over the sheer and utter stupidity of taking him to a VET.

This is the second video in as many weeks that was reminiscent of a scene from Reservoir Dogs. Miles must be a fan.
Of course, this is another example of the trademark weird cliffhanger. Weird because we know Bree had to upload the video, and by the time she uploaded it she would know how things went at the vet and she would presumably be either back at Jonas's Aunt's house or somewhere new. Either way, there's no reason she couldn't add a few seconds on to the end of the video explaining what happened.
I don't think we are being asked to believe that the kids totally got away with taking Jonas to the vet. I bet anything that within the next episode or two the cops and/or the Order will be after them again and they'll say something like, "how did they find us? I don't know, the vet must've told them."
eta: I do think we are being asked to believe that the main characters are kind of stupid once again, and that's annoying since I thought they established in the early videos that Bree and Daniel were pretty intelligent, even if they were naive.

*WARNING: Another patenteded HyeMew rambling post. I should really start just reading these as vlogs, it'd work better that way. The part above the paragraph break is actually related to this episode while the part below is a digression, just in case you needed help handling all that text.*
I don't think we are done with invetigating the "Mystery of Jonas's Aunt's Den", so the Order will likely not get back on their tail because of this and force them to leave prematurely. However if the next episode they just go back to trying to open the door, that makes one wonder what was episode for then in the first place? I believe, at least, it was for Bree to give a little monologue on her feeling for Jonas, and how they do seem a bit confused. However, is that the only forward of the plot this episode would do? I kind of hope not, because I really don't think this needed all that just for Bree to give us her non-commital view of Jonas. However, the previous episode Beach Bum had no apparent point what so ever except for Daniel to drool a bit over Jonas's aunt and talk about how weird his life has gotten.
Meanwhile, I reallllly don't even like the addition of this plot device, "Jonas's aunt". An aunt is a pretty darn close relative, close enough that he's clearly been in contact with her in the recent past to know she'd be away this week on business. However, when we first met him Jonas was a hapless waif alone in the world with no one but his Panamaian maid Consuela to take care of him (details my own). Does this not imply he had absolutely no relatives to help him? The addition of a young aunt in the area opens up the questions, if she's so close to Jonas's age, that means at the time of Jonas's parents' disappearing, Jonas was 13 and presumably the aunt was no older than 20 to qualify as close to his age. However, this would mean that, barring some awful tragedy, at least one of her parents should have been alive just a few years before and she would have been living with them. Presumably she went to college and was likely still living with them in the summer. So if Jonas's aunt was around when his parents' disappeared, where was Jonas's grandparents? Did they disappear sailing too? I can imagine this partly being explained away by saying the aunt was in college or something when they disappeared so she was too young to take care of them, and then joined the Peace Corps or something and was all over the world while he was growing up, but her mere existence and at a young age throws the likelihood of her parents being alive into the mix. Even if they weren't, what about his dad's parents? If you are going to sell Jonas as a hapless waif utterly alone in the world with no support but his maid, please don't have a close blood relative show up a few months later. It just doesn't jive with the story, but then again why am I expecting this to make sense? I used to think (earlllly on) that the people writing these scripts were amazing.. incredible.. to pull off things like that. Now it all just has me dazed and confused.

The Vet? Jeebus. I give the creators a lot of slack lately, that but was exceedingly stupid.
The vet would NOT treat them.
Longlostposter at the phorum:
So he did this to himself while trying to break into the room? Not only could he have just tried to unscrew the knob, or break the window as LLP said, but Mr. TKO could kick that door in quite easily.
Maybe they had to go to vet because they are gayliens. Come on!

some notes on this video from the lgpedia:
* Veterinarians (D.V.M.) are not certified to give medical advice to humans. A vet would likely refer a human to the nearest hospital.
* Given the characters' penchant for movie references, the title of the video is a possible reference to Monty Python and the Holy Grail. In the film, King Arthur gets in a fight with the Black Knight, and after cutting off the Black Knight's arms and legs, the knight yells, "Just a flesh wound," and attempts to continue fighting.

The veterinarian fact was there last night, the MP one must have been added this morning. I had actually thought about adding that myself, since from the first time I saw the title I immediately thought of that quote. Flesh wound would be a really weird title if not a reference to MP.
