Yeah, seriously -- this series could not have been created ANY earlier, especially since we're already sort-of suspending our disbelief in thinking that everywhere they go is readily internet savy (Well, they had to go to a few Internet Cafes when they were in the Motel Arc)..
very good point. forget the use of cellphones and such in modern movies. Not only the expansion of wireless internet, but this whole series could not have existed before vlogging was something people did. and that didn't reallly happen until, um, early in 2006? youtube debuted only in 2005. if lg15 had been created in say, 1995, i'm sure it would have been much more text based (like The Spot).
