I thought it was cool to see another angle of what might have been Daniel making his video. I'd been hoping for something like that from the series for a while. The payoff of course would have been being able to go back to the Daniel video and actually see Jonas out in the bushes. Maybe next time, eh? "What is that?!?" Sooo, what is he talking about? Something in the dark corner where the camera is pointed or maybe the big box with the "A" on it? A something "scope"? Periscope?  Has someone been camping out in the attic spying on them with a periscope?  The fact that the video got uploaded indicates the possibility of a truce between Jonas and Bree. As for the rest, we done got cliff-hung... |

great video...left us hanging ~ i'm ready to find out what happened and what exactly he found. yeah you are correct..if the video was uploaded there must have been a truce.

A phorumite suggested that Joan might find old pics of Bree as a baby in the closet (Joan in the closet,  Hee!), thereby bringing up the ever-popular Bree and Joan are siblings theory. I think this is would be a boost to the plot, even if it is a little trite, and clear up a lot of dangling details. I thought the dual filming thing was clever but could have been developed a little further. All rational explanation (well, you know where that gets you...) points that the crew is back together. Noticeably MIA are the Op/Tachy vids. My guess is that the c's and Glenn are still trying to work out the dreaded "Who Sees What...?" issue before releasing another one. |

Someone may have mentioned this before, so I'm sorry if I'm repeating your thoughts, but I just realized how genius this vlog style drama is. Just think, maybe they filmed the sequence in which Daniel finds Jonas, and there's a confrontation. Yousef or Jackson totally biff this one, and it turns out terribly. No problem, Jonas just "turns off" his camera before the confrontation. They were smart enough to say that this happened a few days ago, so they are completely justified in glossing over how the truce happened. Thus eliminating all that complicated writing that they may have to do.
unsatisfying for this hungry viewer, but a perfect easy-way-out nonetheless.

I think this is a great video. I felt nervous as Joan was sneaking in to the house, and really want to know what happened next. I guess we won't see the video that Daniel was seen making, but would be interesting if we do. For the first time since September I can't wait to see the next video, hopefully it won't be a let down.

Agreed Wixy, this was the first "cliff hanger" where I actually wasn't just annoyed by it. I think that they may be getting the "pacing" of the short adventure/vlog down a little better. It has to be tough to do this in such a short form...

Oh, you're right. i was thinking Daniel was filming the "is he out there?" vid, but he could have just as easily been filming a new forthcoming video. That would be better. They could actually plant Jonus in the bushes outside in Daniel's video, then he could rush upstairs to find Jonus in the attic, ending with the reveal of the periscope or whatever....telecope? oscilloscope? |

I REALLY liked this video and it did freak me out as he walks into the place. Very spooky. That was such a clever build up by having him sneaking past Daniel which in turn gets the heartbeat going as he enters the building. I felt as if I was there. He asks "What is that?" when the long object is sighted by his torch? His voice seemed to display fear there.  The first vid in a while where I want to dissect it! Love it. Perhaps we are not jaded to Jonas as his character has not been so contradictory, hence we can identify with his trepidation and experiences? Edited to add: 1: I find it cheeky he has to sneak into his own place while they lounge in front of the fire. Oh, and where has our actress vanished to? 2: Woot! someone gave me karma. Whoever it was, thankyou! |
