I do not think the Creators knew which way to play Jonas, and he was originally intended as a bad guy but they maybe saw the phorum squeals over him and chose to play with a bit of romantic tension between him and Bree.
"A person can become so comfortable with everything that they don't know that they just stop asking questions altogether. Even when they know all the facts tell them that they should."
Wait...but when we choose to make sense of this and ask questions we are 'Rancor Cove' and 'never happy'?
Edited to add: That Bruce Wayne reference always bugged me. It was too 'tongue in cheek/nudge the audience'. I am guessing the creators know at least some comic history. I could be UTTERLY wrong but I like the idea of Jonas as a boy who is orphaned by the bad guys, grows up secretly seething, he becomes a young adult and learns all he can about who killed his parents, wanting revenge. He both wants to help Bree, and have her as a pawn in his plot.
But then in chat the other day I kind of new Jonas would become a bad guy soon. So really the creators never make any sense and it could go in any direction. I far prefer the Batman idea as even though I adore bad guys it gives him more intelligence and depth.

i think chances are about 50/50% that the jonas-is-evil theory will pop in the next video. how many times have we seen potential long-term story arcs end very quickly (like the jonas-daniel feud).
the idea that jonas would not be "into" bree at all is just silly.

Hey Gang,
Boy, I'm such a sucker for these Dad videos. I loved the descriptions of science and history, but I think the best science and the finest history have more similarities than Bree thinks. They certainly both depend on curiosity, healthy skepticism, and questions, questions, questions.
This is more OldBree than ActionBree (tm). OldBree was never dumb, she just thought she was. Go get 'em, girl!

PS I like the Jonas is Batman theory.

This is where they keep going wrong in LG, no drama. They had a potentially AWESOME episode where we see her find it, her ask him and his reaction. But no they dumb it down into this because it is the simplest way and they are lazy. I have no issues with Bree in this video as it is nice to see her grow some balls finally but it could have been a lot better. I want to see people react as it happens! People make drama and I want to see how they react when thrown into situations. Flwright: I don't mean he is Batman, just sort of like him If he was Batman you would see Temp pop up in the background, eyeing him all stalker like as she prepares the electrical tape and buttplug.

As she was babbling on about her Dad, I wondered about her Mother. I know she said she dosen't want anything to do with her, but surely she has a place in the story somewhere? Will she be significant?
On the video - I enjoyed the last video seconds, where she just stared at the camera, and who ever is watching the video. Something we haven't seen before.
Although I still think we need some more "Proooooving Sccccience Wroooooong"
