There really aren't any surprises here. We all knew they had too much time and money invested in Joan-us. We knew they were going to shove the "choice" to go to Joan's house down our throats (I think you would have to have been deaf, stupid and blind - to turn a phrase- to think otherwise) and most of us knew our young Omar Shariff was headed home for the holidays

Think of it this way. The longer that creep Joan-us is around the better it's going to be when he gets konked over the head with a frying pan.

Let's be honest with ourselves: withthe exception of a few teny-boppers and a "cougar" or two we all love to hate that douche bag.

BTW: Is it just me but can you just see Joan-us dancing with glee through the hallways of his mansion at the thought of being alone with our princess, suddenly turning sad and concerend and stifling a smirk the moment the camera is on him?

Hmm... I've never watched Grey's Anatomy, but it's sort of how the entire show is based around two guys going after her, right? They're setting up some long-run dramatic tension?

Hopefully. Having Bree show up at Jonas's is the closest they've come, thus far, to resolving a story arc. It could be a good sign of a rich story developing. I also agree with Terry's statements about new characters. Adding new characters is something the series needs to survive. I wish they could have done it more gracefully, but whatever.

Anyways I think its interesting that we cant see Bree after Daniel leaves..I guess still allowing the possiblity of Jonas having her tied up in the basement. I doubt thats the case though...

The more stuff unfolds in the LG15 story, the more I'm torn by hating what's happening, and embracing it. It is an IMS, so there should be some level of interactivity, and the audience should influence some of what goes on. However...the creators are going to make some decisions that the audience doesn't like. As they say, it's not a choose your own adventure. Even if Daniel is currently the shining star of the series, if they had an idea of where this is going, they can't change that because Daniel has been stepping up lately. I'd rather not see Daniel go, but I think I could see Daniel's character doing that, and if he has vacay...there's not much to complain about. It had to be.

AMENDMENT: Well.. I just found out LG15 is PG-13.. Now that makes sense.. Of course nothing of all that happened.. Now I know what to expect from Bree: The sexual activity of Winney the Poo.. The intelectual capability of Doraemon.. And the social skills of Harry Potter.. Hmmm.. Now that I come to think of it actually LG15 is a fantastic PG-13 production.. And ignoring this fact I have been unfair to no end in my opinions about it.. I've definitely been expecting waaaaaaay to much from it.. And I have to say that it has satisfied me in several times.. Which says extremly good things about it.. What bothers me now is something very different.. Why in the world am I watching it? What is wrong with me? Hell.. Do I need to see a doctor?

These pair needed to exchanged bodily fluids so badly! They needed to taste and feel and touch and bite and lick and fuck each other to death! WTF! Bree should be mother of a full army by now! That way there would no cult to bother them.. They would have their own cult!

And what its most important.. They would truly know each other.. They would trust each other.. They would know each other's feelings and thoughts and needs and dreams and.. Hell, do they even know what are their true feelings for each other?

But she wont listen.. She is so used to get what she wants no matter what.. She starts walking to Jonas..Then DB starts the same argument again.. Same questions and same answers.. Bree does not listen, she never did.. Daniel won't tell what he really feels.. He never did, he is so devoted to keep is "tough guy" facade.. Bree would not pay attention to DB's feelings, she just deals with them the same way she deals with everything else: Just ignore it and run away as fast as you can, avoid any contact, keep all windows to the real world closed, just she and her hairstyle and make-up and her stuffed friends..

DB is trying hard.. "We don't even know this guy! So what if people trust him?" He walks up to Bree to see her face, her body expression and her eyes: She is completely decided, there no is going back for her, DB can see it in her eyes.. DB's heart breaks.. You can hear it freezing and squealing in pain as it breaks in a million pieces.. You can hear it in the coldness of his voice.. In the change in his tone.. In the way he suddenly begins to talk as a machine:

Daniel: Look, I'm not going.
Bree: What?

Who is this talking? This is not DB anymore.. This is not our DB! Thats the voice of someone who doesn't cares at all for anything.. The way his arms fall.. The way he throws his bag over his shoulder.. His face changes abruptly to a sad and painful expression.. You can even tell he has not energy enough to be mad.. He's just way past his limit.. He is just broken.. He cant take this anymore.. He is fighting for his life now.. He just wants out.. He just wants to pull the knife from his open wound to stop the stinging pain.. There is no chance in a million that his fears for the well-being of Bree can overcome or even reduce his need to escape from this overwhelming pain.. It is so painful he cant even feel anything at all.. That's why he is not mad.. He is just not a human being anymore.. He became an automated machine drived by his survival instincts which only have one goal: To take him away from the source of the pain.

Daniel: I don't care about his stupid test. I don't care about his stupid house and money. I'm going home.

And now the flow totally reverses.. Its Bree now who runs to DB.. Its DB now who won't listen or care about anything said to him.. Its Bree now who pleads.. Its DB now who wont acknowledge..

Bree: Daniel, you can't go home. You can't just leave me.

But why would he listen? Why would he care? Did you Bree? Did you ever think this could happen? When did you forget DB is not a trained beast at your service? It is too late now.. You wont say the right words in a million years.. And even if you did the damage could be too much now.. This is what has been announced for so long.. You both lose the person you want more in the world in the most silly way.. But those who don't value what they got shall lose it.. Its nature's law..

Then Jonas cries for help "I've got an hysteric chick who locked herself in a bedroom and I got no idea what to do with her! What If she cuts her veins and messes my carpet? Or the curtains! Nooo! My mommy's curtains! Somebody help me! This is a disaster!"

Although I don't agree with all of your premise Joss, I do appreciate YOUR passion. Not quite sure I am ready for fluid exchange, although biting and grooming (monkey style) would be kinda cool.

As for me, I will do as I promised and give them some time to resolve the plot issues. I suspect this will take quite a bit of time to dig out of these holes and I am resigned to be patient.

hmmm...in Daniel-vision™, but uploaded as a Jonie video. Who has the cam now? Did Daniel leave his camera behind? Or did they stop before he stormed off and he gave her the tape, and she gave him the cam? Makes it hard for Daniel to post a video without a camera...is all that I'm saying.

Of course, he could email Bree I suppose. Does email exist in the Breeniverse? Oh yeah, the order has people over at hotmail.

Both of them have cameras. Bree was using hers. Daniel still has his.

I don't believe Bree has ever owned a camera, only a webcam. Daniel has spoken about getting a camera in early comments and has been seen on screen holding his camera. I believe we are to assume that she has 'borrowed' Daniel's camera, which was a graduation present and would have come in handy at film school.

Edit: I only make a difference because a camera is mobile while a webcam is not. If you watch What Did Dad and Daniel Talk About you will notice how much the video quality deteriorates when they try to move around a webcam. I also doubt Bree took her webcam with her for the simple reason that they already had Daniel's camera. It is possible Daniel has a webcam back at his place, I'd say a better way for him to return with a camera would be to say him simply borrowed one from film school (assuming he actually goes off to one)

Anyways, I'm pretty sure Daniel has both a webcam and a camera. So even if Bree took the camera for now, he can still use the webcam he used on his early vlogs.

Yes, there are bigger continuity issues than the cams, but I think they are important. How is Daniel going to film his adventures? He's surely going to go home and either disappear or he'll find something out that he'll want to post about.
Daniel does have a webcam now that you mention it. "Daniel responds" and "Girl Trouble" feature the webcam. PSW introduces Daniel's video camera (him playing around with it on screen) and "My Parents Let Us Go Hiking!!!" is the first video in Daniel-vision (letterboxed, non-vlog, better quality, filmic, dramatic, etc.). Bree's only ever had a webcam or Daniels video camera. Now it appears that Bree has Daniel's camera. If she has the camera, that would naturally limit Daniel's video posting powers and perhaps lead us to believe that Daniel will have a diminished role in the series.

The webcam will work for a vlog, but what if he wants to break into someone's apartment?

Actually, I'd like to see Daniel do a video from Bree's room.

Again, again, Yousef is going on vacation to visit family for the holidays for a month, in part because a military family member (his brother, I think?) is going to be shipping out to the Middle East. He has had this vacation planned for quite some time. Undoubtedly, this PTO has played some part in why the relationship between Bree and Daniel needed to be brought to a point where Daniel would be away from Bree for some time.

All we know about Daniel's departure is that Bree filmed him getting irritated and walking away.

For all we know, he could have regretted stomping away, turned to try to go after Bree after all, and got snatched at the end of the alleyway by the Order. This would be especially true if Jonas is a trap. In the storyline, Daniel may be in no position to upload any videos for the next few weeks. We don't know.

Or it's vaguely possible that Yousef could end up with an assignment to do a little clip from some anonymous-looking room while on vacation, and email the footage to Miles for post-production. Or they may have filmed ahead a clip or two. Again, we just don't know.

But Daniel *has* to have a diminshed role for some time due to simple logistics. It doesn't have anything to do with "Yousefgate." From that perspective, it does make sense that he left the camera with Bree. He knows that if she's able, she *will* be filming herself and posting the vids.


On one up note, with Bree and Jonas directly interactive, maybe there will be a hell of a lot more Mesh influence on Jonas' scripts now; he could turn out much less irritating with her around. Now he actually has a responsibility.

I appreciate the bit about Daniel going away for a while. I think it is something we will have to learn to consider in IMS due to the continual postings of material.

I reckon it would be great if Jonas STFU over Xmas, and sat on a bed in silence, while Bree proved science wrong in front of him for the fans.
