so Daniel says that he hates that Bree isn't taking things seriously, so Gemma makes a vid comparing daniel slowly ruining his life by being on the lam from potentially dangerous cult members to being in a stupid fight with her roommate about how to load a dishwasher. And then at the end says, please, make up!
I'm sorry I didn't explain the video like you asked. To sum things up: I think I really really hate Gemma, and I think everyone should really really agree.

i just saw this and im sooooo annoyed!
just a few points i want to make
1. What student in London lives somewhere decent enough to have a dishwasher?
I studied in London for two years and I could barely make the extortionate rent, even with working weekends and getting money from my parents.
2. The references to 'chips' 'peas' and 'little britain' are obviously put there to make us believe Gemma is actually anywhere near the UK. In a way some of it is cool, at least they are making the effort, but its all just been thrown into one video and it does not seem natural.
3. So she lived in a commune in South Africa eh? Nice way to explain away the accent!
4. ARGHHHHHHH WHY IS SHE SO DAMN SMILEY AND RAMBLING ON ABOUT HER INSIGNIFICANT 'PROBLEMS'?
5. I have a huge biochem test tomorrow so I am stressed, hopefully this should explain my anger.

so, someone on the phorum suggested that Gemma's muddled accent is her way to secretly say to Bree "I'm pretending I'm in London, but since you know england's various accents, you'll figure out that I'm not really in London, but shhhh don't tell the order..." or whatever. Seriously, that's one thin chewing gum string to hang a theory on. I hope there is SOMETHING going on with her, though. I really want her existence in the breeniverse to have a POINT.

So, Gemma makes a few comments about Bree, then goes off about her life. That actually might be really realistic. In fact, I think that's what they're going for. Like Gemma would have a blog about her life anyway, but it just happens that an old friend of hers is in trouble in the states, and she has a hugely popular blog. She's like "blah be careful, make up, being followed, blah" and then she goes on about her life hoping that people start following her blog too. It's kinda the typical respond to a popular vlog to get people to watch yours. Plenty of people do that to LG. Now the creators are having Gemma do the same thing. I wonder if that's the eventual goal? To have multiple vlogs, that occasionally overlap in the breeniverse, but are mostly separate entities? Gemma would have to start to have a following of her own and occasionally post videos that weren't response videos for this to play out realistically, however.
I started thinking of it that way after watching a few response videos to other vlogs. Even if the main vlog is staged or fake or whatever, you can still tell poignant stories about individuals through the response videos.
edit: Oh...mku...that vikky pollard is some funny sh@% right there...ha...I exalted you at around 3am for that.

I... I don't even think I'm going to comment about Gemma videos anymore.
They are just that abusrd.
Noa, if Jackie gets anywhere CLOSE to the $500 Jess does (which I know can't be true), but if she makes, like even anything, it's far more than she deserves. This is terrible, terrible, terrible, but never fear... if you thought Gemma was God-awful, HERE COMES JONAS and the unbearable boredom that are his vlogs.
