Miles and the gang get crazy on New Years Eve!!! I won't spoil it, but you need to watch if NOW! Bree released a MS message urging folks to watch the vid, so she appears to be OK... Yay!!! This Other Video, posted by "Brother" was posted simultaneously . I don't see how you can NOT watch this and still be able to keep up with what is going on... |

That's annoying. They PROMISED Op would have no serious impact on the series and would not need to be watched to keep up. Based on a spoiler I heard awhile ago which inadvertantly came from someone that got it from someone who used to be sort of in the know, I have an idea what did happen (it leads me to believe Gemma got shot, not Bree) and that there is a major plot twist that will come of it (a rather weird one if you ask me.) We'll see if that was all true.

Rewatching the video, it's just like... jeez. Bree's been seperated from her parents for months, spent Thanksgiving in the woods, has lived on the street with bums, is forced to resort to the kindness of a stranger to survive, finally had a rendez-vous with her father, and after all that only has it ruined by apparent gunfire, resulting in her or someone around her getting shot.
The more I think about it, the more disturbing it becomes, as I had felt a deep connection with the character Bree. To see her go through all this is more than a little disconcerting, as I can't imagine how any real person could go through all this and not go away without severe mental trauma. Even if this all gets resolved happily in the end, and the Bree character comes away all smiles and happy, well so be it, but regardless of a happy ending a real person would have a major case of post-traumatic stress disorder from all that, just sayin'...

That was... bad. 24 is looking more realistic to me these days.
I did really like the casual swearing at the beginning. The few glimpses of Jonas acting like a real person were good.
Everything after that made me laugh, which I doubt was the intended purpose.
Oh, and I think they are keeping OpAphid pretty separate from LG these days. I have no complaints about that any more. It is telling a story about Gemma, who has never been a major player in LG. Has anyone even noticed or cared that she has stopped making videos of her own? I'm cool with the idea that OpAphid tells a story about a b-storyline character from LG.

my 2 cents: who thinks bree's dad is played by greg goodfried? ---- once again, lgpedia already seems to have a good synposis of the speculation on this vid: www.lonelygirl15.com/lgpedia/index.php?title=The_Unthinkable_HappenedDue to the poor lighting in the garage, and the constant camera movement in the last scene, it is unclear who was shot. When you look out the window of Jonas' car, there is a man near the scene of the incident standing on his own, and it looks like he's wearing the hat that Bree's dad was wearing, so it looks like Bree's dad wasn't shot. When Daniel and Jonas park in the parking garage, awaiting Bree and her father's arrival to the car Bree stole from Jonas, a white SUV passes the stolen vehicle. This SUV is speculated to be the very same SUV in Brother's video from the same day, Gemma (Part 5), and is possibly being driven by Gemma. After the video ends, what happened is left open. People are speculating that Bree was shot at. Before the shot, Bree is running away with Daniel quickly and looks asthough she's fine. After the shot is heard, Bree looks like she's drooping over as if she was the one that was shot. You can also here a scream if you listen closely. In the video by Brother, he is aiming at Gemma's heart, presumably to shoot her. Since the white SUV is also there, it could be assumed that it was Brother shooting Gemma, and that it was Gemma screaming instead of Bree. |

Milo, I think Dr. Bread is Greg Goodfried. Wonder if he as a SAG card  . 24 is looking more realistic to me these days. Agreed Terry, I think that attempting to shoot larger-scale action sequences on their limited budget is a mistake. It also really deviates from the vlog format. As of now, the video is STILL not up on YouTube so we don't really know "who" posted it. It is posted by lonelygirl15 on Revver... The title "The Unthinkable..." only adds to the confusion about what happened. I hate to say this, but it would have been better for the Tachyon surveillance cameras to have caught this action on tape, thereby eliminating the silliness noted above. |

I remember people justifying "On The Run" by saying, hey, they must have found a motel and uploaded it there. The creators even had to make "Warwalking" to explain how the homeless still can be part of the YouTube Community. There is no plausible explanation that can be made to explain this video as a vlog. but how bout this (assuming bree is "real"): daniel decided to make all this stuff more exciting by splitting these series of recent events into multiple videos, so they can get more subscribers. because then maybe carson daly or someone will give them money like brookers got, and then daniel can take bree away from jonas. i've just decided to give up this concern for reality. just like the recent creators post at the phorum that solves cg's noble inquiry into who can see what by saying "we don't really know - sorry for the bumpy road - we'll fix it later." |

err...huh? Gemma was shot...near there? That was the shot sound? Interesting how they overlap…if they do. I'd been hoping they'd do something where you get 2 different perspectives of one event. The fact that it's brother with the other angle is slightly disappointing, since I'm not following that stuff right now.  So Lucy and order guy made the scene and got away with BreeDad, and Gemma had a shot taken at her nearby complicating and confusing the situation.  Bree crumples thinking they shot pops and everyone runs in different directions to furiously edit and upload their videos and check myspace.  So, now do we at least have confirmed kidnapping? Up to now, Bree and Daniel have committed more crimes than the order. I thought the gunshot was going to be their first confirmed offense, but alas I'll have to settle for kidnapping I suppose. |

Ok...now I am so VERY confused First, who the F is Dr Bread? Second, I heard a bang but didn't see anyone shot. I stepped through it many times using Qtime but no blood no nothing. At this point I'm not sure if I would be so upset if Bree did get shot. She is starting to wear me out with her whining and pineing and grand theft auto-ing Third, the Brother video , shows nothing - unless I missed something VERY important. There is a "radar hotspot", but no gunshot..for all we know that could have been Lee Harvey Oswald taking aim (but NOT shooting as we all know he didn't ) Fourth...how very little do the the authors (still wont call them creators) think of us by saying oops...."we don't really know - sorry for the bumpy road - we'll fix it later." to a very meaningful question (CG's: Who sees what?) Fifth (and I wish I had one right now!) How in the hell can Slainte have such anervous breakdown and think that he can just walk right back in as "Taig"? - Incidentally it should be " Teague" but you'd have to be a Fenian bastard to know that. I was thinking I might follow you off into the sunset in this new year, but your return has reenergized me a little. I don't even care that much that LG has become really really bad. I like a lot of really bad stuff - hell I watched 5 straight 90210 episodes over christmas. I just wish Miles and Mesh would talk about their project. If they told us what there their idea and direction is (rather than just allude that they have one) I would be a lot more content with the show. I don't mean what will happen, I mean more what they want to accomplish with the show. They only talk to the main stream media and never given real, honest, complete interviews to their own fans. That is what bothers me. Take the show in whatever direction you want, but at least talk with your fans. You can't say you are not a big company and at the same time treat your fanbase as indifferently as a big company does. If they want there to be an LG community then they have to be a part of it. I think I may be a shade off topic at this point. So to try to bring it back to point I shall just observe that there was first some Duffys in a shower and now there is a Who Shot LG?. I think Miles is watching WAY too many Dallas reruns. |
