singing - "There's a story, about a man named Brady, and he was living with 3 boys of his own"
Oh whoops.
I forgot what I was watching for a minute.
Who thinks Bree's parents will kidnap Daniel and they are only lying to her? Gawd, for the sake of all that is lonelygirl15, please don't end it so CUTESY.

THE END. Now shouldn't it all end there? Maybe? proving science wrong goes on for eternity in the breeniverse?
No way is bree getting off this easy! When Daniel comes over tomorrow, dad is going to stick him, I know it!
EDIT: the picture of the three people is back up on the bookcase.

THE END. Now shouldn't it all end there? Well I would not have a hard time believing that would be the case in the near future. As for why, consider the fact that the show has not earned one red cent, AFAIK. It was VERY successful as a Proof of Concept and my bet is that the Hollywood types are pitching and developing IMSs like crazy. Yes, the interactivity part failed miserably, they should have let Buka handle that! The premise of an IMS DID work. But , the creators have not made the cash and are having to keep working on this even though I doubt any funding is coming. No matter how much time and effort they put into it there is no way to generate any kind of significant revenue. Yes, it may be a labor of love but I don't think they can afford to keep doing this without compensation. And no, I don't think this is the end yet but I bet they are looking for a way out soon. Do you work without compensation? I don't...

I watched Yousef's MTV interview today, trying to remember where I heard one of them say they signed a NDA for a year. But it wasn't there. Anyway, he said that he didn't get paid "at first" which indicates that they are now.
Also, a basic business practice is that you have to spend money to make money.
And .... many people host videos every single day without compensation on youtube.
I think they are going to have Bree's parents do something to Daniel, or want him there so they can monitor activities. Climax is coming soon.... I hope!
Has anyone even thought of this - what will happen after LG15 is "officially" over? What will happen to the fans, and do you think Jess and Yousef will get other parts right away?

This is a very strange turn for the plotline. Things just don't get happily resolved like this. Bree's parents and her church would guilt-trip her about her faith for not wanting to do the ceremony. You don't get out of dodgy cult dealings that easily.
So something had better be happening. If it's just a way to reset the series and get Daniel on the bed reading magazines again, what's the point.

Argh!! I love you all but I just don't get you! You complain and complain and COMPLAIN about how you miss the old Bree, the cutsey Bree, the Bree & Daniel show, and, then The Creators take a turn and try to give you back what you all have been begging for you complain about THAT too!!
Don't get me wrong, I love you all, but, I just don't understand you guys half the time in regards to LG15. I don't even know the word to explain it and that troubles me.

Alissa, I think it is BECAUSE we love the characters so much that we complain so much.... I think the actors and their respective characters have done a wonderful job with the scripts that have been written.
One of the things that is obvious about us Covites (hee) is that we are consummate consumers of fiction. Good fiction. Books, movies, TV, the Stage, etc. We know our shit. We know good things when we see it or we would not be here to begin with!
We have seen a VERY clever and well crafted production slowly degrade in quality. The writing and plot changes have been abysmally bad, but our wonderful cast has soldiered on. It upsets us to see this happen. I wrote in a thread a couple of days ago that one of the hardest things in life is to accept that something/somebody will never live up to what we perceive their potential is. Maybe we perceived more potential than what was there, although the original premise and writing were exceptionally well done.
Anyway, I think I will take your advice and lighten up and enjoy the rest of the ride for what it is. Will I be disappointed if it continues in this vein? Probably, but I'll get over it. It's just a frakn IMS.
The best thing about all of this has been interacting with my fellow Covites and I will continue for this reason if not anything else. Peace out from the Funky Monkey.

I, for one have always wanted the plot to go scary. I'm not into the cutesy Bree. Yousef said this was a series thriller. That's what I've personally wanted from day one.
And ditto what the monkey said above.

Busy few days with the videos. Well, here's the split between the Parents and Bree's religion and Lucy's seperate secret ceremony offshoot, innit? Now they can go scary creepy thriller and not offend the offendable, right?
The parents may (or not?) be on board, but we know the order won't give up easily. They went to a lot of trouble to fake a ceremony and "prepare" Bree. Also, there is something about Bree specifically that they seem to need for this ceremony. She was chosen, and it seems to be a conspiracy that is far reaching. All the way to Adak! ha.
The order may not bust out the secret Denderah ninja's, but that's the tension in the story now. Bree's not doing the ceremony, and how will the decans react to this information. Will the parents cave in to the order? Does Bree have a choice or not?
Are we into the final story-arc? I'm not so sure. Gemma just came on board.
Harumph, no mention of the birthday. So, another detail gets lost eh? Bummer.

This is weird. To me it almost seems like the Creators saw the LG deathspiral and decided to pull up right before hitting the ground. HOWEVER, why was it so easy!? I am thinking this might not be THE END of this drama line because after all Gemma WAS just introduced, Daniel IS on the run hiding out at a friends house, and a cult IS after him. Bree talks to her parents and suddenly the world goes back to being sunshine, lollipops, and candy? It all got resolved WAY too easily, and while I want the old fun Bree & Daniel show back, the Creators DID shove us this far down the hole. There's no way they can just yank us back up and say OK back to normal now!
What's funny is I just messaged Jess a few days ago and she asked me what I thought of the series lately and my feelings on how it was going. I didn't want to insult her lol so I said it was still great, but let her know that I REALLY miss the old days of proving science wrong and that if she could even do one again after this craziness gets resolved I'd be so happy. Didn't expect such instant gratification, if that is what happened, though frankly I'd love to see Bree's dad turn on Daniel once he crosses the threshold, like the cult is waiting for him there. However the webcam environment of this all doesn't really allow for that.

it seems to me like they are responding to all the fans who wanted the cute stuff back, however they are doing it in such a quick way that it seems like a compleat let down on the whole build up.
Creator A: they keep reaserching the cult stuff more more Creator B: oh noes they dont like it, bring back the cute Creator A: but how? Creator B: i kno...Lucy takes a pic of daniel and that convinces Bree and her parents that they know nothing about the religion and they all convert to baptist. Creator A: but wont that take a while? we may lose viewers Creator B: not at all. I bet we could pull it off in 3 videos Creator A: but what about the cerimony? Creator B: we can jsut say it was fake.
seriously tho, the best part is the mischivious grin she gets when she decides that she isnt gona let daniel sit on the bed and read. i wonder if she was thinking of ways to get him more involved with her...i mean with her movies

Harlequin your dialogue reminds me of that old show Name That Tune. It's like the Creators wanted to get out of this trainwreck that is LG as of late and back to the cute stuff. So Mesh says I can resolve this in 3 videos... and then Greg says well I can do it in 2 videos... and they are about to agree on that when everyone's "favorite" creator, Miles, chimes in I CAN DO IT IN ONE. So they tell him to name that tune, and he basically makes all the problems seemingly go away without even tying up 2/3 of the loose ends. If it truly ends that way without anything else addressed about the stalking by the cult, etc., then that'll be disappointed and ridiculous to the extreme.
