They put the video on their site (via Revver) for the first few hours, then put it on YouTube marked private for another little bit, then they make it public on YouTube. I'm pretty sure they've been doing this for the last several videos. I think they'll keep posting everything on YouTube until they have something for which they can charge viewers a significant amount of money, like a DVD (or a paid download?). Cause the relatively small amount of money from Revver isn't as valuable as the exposure on YouTube. I don't think revver money would even pay Jess's salary. Although it could pay Yousef's if he's still working for free.
As for this episode: it was an ok story. Enough to get my LG fix for the day. 11 more days....

It looks like the flap with the teaser video didn't do much damage. Bree is rapidly approaching 46,000 subscribers and Daniel is the 14th most subscribed person on YouTube with over 9,000 now. I note, however, with some dismay, that the Creators have abandoned one of the most interesting elements of the original project -- the interactivity. Yes, fan videos on www.lonelygirl15.com are all well and good. But the charm, from when these characters would respond to YouTube comments and messages, is gone. I think, artistically, it's a mistake. The way these characters behaved as if they were real, was a key element of this art. It was originally, whether they realized this or not, a commentary on the very nature of reality on the Internet -- and that's part of why so many media outlets found this such an appealing series. It was an alternate reality that meshed seamlessly with reality. That's something that an artist never really attempted to do before.

Based on comments which the modstaff has received behind the scenes on LG15, I'm pretty sure the interactivity hasn't been cancelled.
{Although I should emphasize that we don't know any "insider" details about their plans. Nada, zilch.}
They do seem to still be working out some kinks, obviously, given the unpredictability of fan response to date
