Mesh's pre-LG, independent film, "Pond" is up on You Tube. About (what else?) a quirky teen-age girl trying to solve a problem. Thanks to Noa, Alissa, and (I'm guessing) others..... www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cl03MT0uM3I

Wow, thanks Noa and Mesh! We need more films about dead architects. I always watch the credits and who should appear...Grant Steinfeld, Still Photographer. FLWright

flwright: legend has it that MF wrote the Pond screenplay in an all nighter after seeing "My Architect" at the Mill Valley Film Festival .....Bree meets Louis Khan....!
This perceptive comment on Pond over at the phorum captures it nicely.....
Gogo: "This short film demonstrates such depth of character, subtlety and attention to language in a solid, sophisticated plot. I really enjoyed viewing this. Thanks for posting this, Noa. It is neat to see this character who M.F. stated was living in his head. The underlying theme of questioning where one belongs and the conflict between isolation (whether it be self-imposed or "inflicted" by others) and solitude as self-acceptance (whether it be loneliness or meditative) is not lost on me (i.e. a lonely girl finds herself in helping someone else find his place). Engaging." _________________

Picking up some sweet views and favoritings on LiveVideo, and the film is now also up on iFilm at this link: www.ifilm.com/video/2809625Cara Brimley of nohogirls fame loves POND, btw -- that was the most enjoyable message I have gotten in a while. She compared it to The Sixth Sense. But if you ask me, Shyamalan's got nothing talent-wise on Mesh. vodpod tonight... spreading the meme!
