Covers have quite the bad reputation- most people see as us people who do nothing but whine and complain about the series and secretly hate it. In fact it does seem that anytime any new episode happens, we have something bad to say about it (but that's because there truly are so many plot holes and confusing things if you think about it...)
I was just wondering, if YOU were the Creators, where would you have the plot go since the reveal?
Would you have had the Ceremony be real? Would you have ended the emphasis on the Order there, or would you have taken Bree on the road too>
I guess since we think we know best (and not saying we don't sometimes), I want to know what you would all have done with the plot if you had the chance?

It's no secret I would have kept things in Bree's room and in the format of the early days as long as I could. My first major (of many) discontents with the series was the growing obsession with Bree's religion and the Deacons- which of course turned to confusion when real Thelema people got somewhat offended by the somewhat evil inuendos the series was treating the religion with. This is what ended up turning it abruptly, despite all signs point to Thelema, to Gemma's famous "it's not Thelema" revelation and the birth of the Order.
With all the build up around the Order, I would have had something exciting happen, but definitely not emphasize the Order as this supervillain which rules the world kind of deal we have now. I would have wrapped up that storyline back in October after the Ceremony (because with all that build up they NEEDED something big to happen) or November at the latest.
At this point I would have liked Bree to still be in her room (though we know that's impossible), because face it, we all fell in love with that place and all that went on there. I truly miss scenes filmed in it let alone the type of scenes in it. Sure we would have gotten sick of it after awhile, I'm not saying she has to be in her room EVERY episode, but the way the plot is now her house, if ever safe to go back to, would certainly have been condemned by now, all her possessions sold at a sherrif's auction or something.
Basically I would have liked to see Bree and Daniel encounter other relatively real life incidences. No I don't want it to be a true teen soap opera drama, but I'm sure they could have come up with other entertaining and not cliche things for Bree to encounter in her journey through teendom without involving the extraordinary. They were doing a pretty good job of it early on... and of course throw in the occassional Proving Science Wrong and similarly entertaining type episodes that have no real plot but don't need a real plot.
I really don't know why Mesh would create such an entertaining mini-series like PSW only to utterly drop it once he was discovered and move on to this stuff. It just seems weird, like what were they thinking early on when he was doing that kind of stuff and what changed that caused him to never do one again in the modern age (Proving Longitude Wrong- which frankly was nothing more than Bree telling an apocryphal story- was not a real Proving Science Wrong. It was the only one which was made post-reveal and after what I feel was ample pressure from people like me (well mostly me) beginning for it over at the phorum- I sent quite a few desprate PMs as well haha.
This is too long, but seriously, what would you guys have liked to see the plot do post-reveal and what would Bree be doing now? An episode like the "possible occupations" one Virginia Heffernan wrote about would have been so much more delightful, which it was, if it had been done from her room without her world turned upside-down. That was a glimpse of what could have been, and what we unforunately never seem to see at all these days.
