Cassie and Bree the Same Person?

I have been working on a theory that Cassie and Bree might, in fact be the same person.

All we know about Cassie at this point is that only Bree seems to remember her (granted, Daniel is the only one not to remember her) and made a comment that "everyone was mean to her"

We know that, at the time of the Swimming video, Bree felt like everyone in high school had been mean to her and made up rumors. She mentions talking to Bree in her gym class.

Also, as the username states, Cassie is watching. If Cassie and Bree were the same person than Cassie would have seen everything going on in Bree's life.

It would also work towards the title of her video about it now being her story.

If Bree is an danger, Cassie might be acting out. If Bree dies, Cassie dies.

So anyone else think that Cassie might be the split personality of Bree (think Fight Club, people)

I do believe that's been said before. In fact I think there's already numerous threads about it.

The only problem I can think of is whoever filmed the video had a camera. Bree only has a webcam, Daniel has the actual camera and the car to get them to the location.

So the question is, does Daniel know "Cassie"? If Bree never acknowledged this personality I guess it would explain Daniel's reaction to it and the denial.

Maybe he's helping Cassie in order to save Bree, who is probably the domiant personality.

This is a fun thought, but I *believe* it has been established that the Cassie mySpace is a fan tribute, like HyeMew's danielbeast mySpace.

that's an interesting thought.... I dont' know if it fits with the comments she's made about being an only child, or about Cassie in general, but I don't think it's so far off that it couldn't be at least partially true.

there's be problems with the Daniel not remembering who she is aspect. Or that she used to go to school with Daniel and Bree. But it's an interesting prospect.

maybe (just wildly guessing) if we stick to the Bree with MPD theory, that's what triggered it?

I've enjoyed this website but Alissa, you really seem to have a power trip with your board. I have no idea who this Cassie person is, but you write that anyone who posts a new message about it will be banned. No background on why, or anything. It's kind of offputting when you use heavy-handed moderation like that. I thank you for all the work you've done on LG15 but I'll respectfully look elsewhere to discuss the continuing LG15 series.

There's lots of stuff about Cassie in the Recycle Bin, where Cassie is clearly explained. It certainly isn't about a power trip.

And she didn't say you couldn't talk about Cassie. She said the youtube entity of Cassie (she who shall not be named) is frowned upon.
I wonder if they'll mention Cassie in another video.

I haven't really decided, since the first time she was mentioned just in passing, but since they have said that it is becoming fan driven, perhaps they will take what everyone has said about Cassie, and the split personality, and run with it, although I sort of hope not.

ok so I'm picking at a scab...but recent events indicate that "Cassie is Bree" may have some validity.

I sense that there was some real tension about this subject back in the "olden days" but this is the "new" Cassie - the one I believe the authors have embraced.

(CG et al I know you hate the crossover vids - I do too- but there they are. Whattya gonna do?)

and there are the drugs...quite a physcotropic coctail so far (I know it's not reall but I just love the word: phsycotropic)

Apparently those drugs are not inidcated in schizophrenic episodes but it sure as shit seems like she has been up and down and it aint just her "cycle"

So...it may not be true BUT it IS a worthwhile theory. Maybe they aren't the same person, maybe it is somethng way more bizarre than that - an insane twin? a genetic experiment gone wrong (as in a bad cloning)

There are some other "clues" to this in the "Swimming" episode but I think the authors have spun around so many times that old clues may be of little value. If they did have a storyboard in the beginning it must be a doorstop by now.

slainte, i agree, based on the bree phone home video.

way back when, daniel not seeming to remember who cassie was in the swimming video did give some credence to the cassie-is-bree theory. "Bree Phone Home" adds a lot to it, because bree says she took all the blame for the prank phone calls that "cassie" did.

I think it was Alissa (all hail) who put that out first for us. I don't know if that's where it started going and then the whole renegade vids made them feel like they couldn't keep going there or if they've just decided to coop Alissa's idea. Either way, it makes for a more interesting story. More crazy Bree!
