I just watched two documentaries by Alex Jones (infowars.com) about this secret "club", made up of the world's elite (both Bush's, Clinton, Kissinger, etc). They meet at a 2000+ acre, heavily gaurded space in the redwood forests of Northern California every summer. Up until Jones' first documentary in 2000, what when on inside this annual event was largely unknown. It is widely accepted that policy-making decisions take place at this "retreat" - hidden from public view or scrutiny. However there had also been rumors of occultist rituals - including one performed at the altar of a great stone statue of an Owl (who they worship) - where a mock sacrifce would take place. Well Alex Jones proved this "rumor" to be true in July 2000 when he infiltrated the site with a hidden camera and caught the whole ceremony on film. I HIGHLY suggest that you watch this film (along with his 2005 follow-up), for it is not only fasincating, but beyond scary in what it suggests about the people in power - in this country and others. I couldnt help but think of Bree's ceremony in the woods when watching this footage and I wonder if the Creators decided to base their plot on this type of secret society. There are connections between Aleister Crowley and Bohemian Grove..which I plan on researching some more. But I'd love to know your guys' thoughts on this You can check out both videos for free on Google video: DARK SECRETS: INSIDE BOHEMIAN GROVEvideo.google.com/videoplay?docid=1328293702209699653&q=Dark+Secrets+Inside+Bohemian+Grove&hl=enTHE ORDER OF DEATH:video.google.com/videoplay?docid=2500924140588760933&q=Order+of+Death&hl=eninforwars.com p.s. Please forgive me if this has already been discussed but I did a search on this forum for "Bohemian Grove" and nothing came up, so hopefully this is a new topic.

It's possible the creators were influenced by stories like this. We've been given so little detail about Bree's ceremony and The Order, that it's hard to tell. I HIGHLY suggest that you watch this film I HIGHLY suggest that anyone who makes their living as a conspiracy theorist is full of crap, and that just because something in presented in documentary format, doesn't mean it's true.

So here's the wikipedia article on the Bohemian Grove. Here's a small bit of what it says: "The Bohemian Club's membership includes many artists, particularly musicians, as well as many high-ranking business leaders, government officials (including some US Presidents) and senior media executives."
"The Grove is particularly famous for a Manhattan Project planning meeting that took place there in September of 1942, which subsequently led to the atomic bomb. Those attending, apart from Ernest Lawrence and military officials, included the president of Harvard and representatives of Standard Oil and General Electric. Grove members take particular pride in this event and often relate the story to new attendees." Whoa kind of scary that they were involved in planning the Manhattan Project, I don't know much about the Manhattan Project, but the Bohemian Grove must have a lot of powerful people among its members. I think it mostly sounds like a private and secret meeting of influential people to discuss business and politics. Spbfilm you should finish your research on a connection with Crowley? See what you come up with. Are those documentaries feature length? I can't be bothered sitting through them yet It's possible the creators were influenced by stories like this. We've been given so little detail about Bree's ceremony and The Order, that it's hard to tell. Yea the creators have probably done their research well and are aware of all the organizations ans stuff like this.

I completely agree, smashing. I think everything should be taken with a grain of salt - particularly "conspiricy theroies". I'm sure 99% are untrue. But I also think that when you have the oprotunity to see something before you judge it, you should. Clearly you did not watch the first video because the hidden camera footage could not be faked - there were 2000 people in the audience watching this pyro-technic-filled ceremony take place. Jones could not have hired all those people, or produced such an event. Besides which, Bohemian Grove has been documented in all major news sources for decades. If nothing else, its entertaining

I had come across BG just a couple weeks ago while surfing wikipedia. Quite disturbing to say the least! Now they have ceremonies worthy of Bree's creepy cult ceremony, not that stupid faux ceremony we saw!

Yea there is a definate connection to the Bilderberg group - many of the high-level members of Bohemian also take part in the Bildberg meetings. However Bohemian Grove has around 2000 members, so it also includes many lower-level rich people- heads of companies and whatnot. There is no question Bohemian Grove exists - its very much admitted. Officially, its just a fun retreat type thing for high level officials to blow off steam (men only though -no women allowed. Its kind of like a big-boy fraternity lol). What IS up for debate though, is what goes on during the get togethers, and whether or not they make big decisions there. Regardless, I only brought up the subject in the context of LG15, not to convince anyone of the group's purpose. Bree's "dad" always wanted her to work at a place like Nasa, and he himself seemed to be involved in creating medicine and whatnot. These are the type of people that would be invited to something like this. I also thought Daniel sorta reminded me of Alex Jones- because he also "infiltrates" Bree's (fake) ceremony in the woods at night with a camera. Food for thought, and something to research when you're bored

OK This is slightly off-thread but for a great historical insight into Crowley as a real person not the myth, try this.............Fascinating stuff that came to light recently, video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-8143293762070092661["In year 2000 BBC Scotland made a short documentary about Boleskine, Crowley’s house on the banks on Loch Ness. The show was called The Other Loch Ness Monster, but the BBC have so far refused to show it outside of Scotland. Channel Four have filmed a more throughgoing documentary although broadcast has again been delayed due to editorial difficulties. Crowley “mystical” thelemic documentary video entitled “The Other Loch Ness Monster” with appearance by Kenneth Anger."] NB Notice the ref to starting a ceremony/ritual and not following it through...Bad things happen to you,,sound familiar? maybe post this on the phorum and watch the s**t fly!

I did watch the movie, all two hours of it, after I commented. And I felt no need to modify my post. I don't think the footage was faked. But if you think that footage, or that documentary proves that the world is run by satanists, then I have a bridge to sell you. And there are a lot of people just like Alex Jones who have more books and films to sell you to convince you of all kinds of things. There's a whole industry built around conspiracy theories. If you ever listen to the radio show Coast to Coast AM, you'll hear them all, along with tales of the supernatural presented as fact. There is another way of thinking that values truth, reason, and the scientific method. It's that kind of thinking that is responsible for the progress of civilization. For instance, it developed the technology that allows us to watch video online and come here and discuss it. I prefer that way of thinking. Believe what you want.

I can't believe all this skepticism is coming from a time travelling Paul McCartney, who is constantly afraid he might run into the older version of himself and cause a time space collapse Plus it's a well known fact that there's a secret society of the five wealthiest people in the world, known as The Pentavirate, who run everything in the world, including the newspapers, and meet tri-annually at a secret country mansion in Colorado, known as The Meadows. The Pentavirate is made up of The Queen, The Vatican, The Gettys, The Rothschilds, and Colonel Sanders before he went tits up. Oh, I hated the Colonel with is wee beady eyes, and that smug look on his face. "Oh, you're gonna buy my chicken! Ohhhhh!"

I feel as though I hit a nerve with smashing here I never intended to do that...only to bring up an interesting POSSIBLE connection to this ceremony in the woods and Bree's. Speaking of reason, if you look at my original post with reason, you will see I never said I believe the world is run by satanists. I'm not convinced of things easily - not by Alex Jones or anyone else. I believe in truth, reason and the scientific method as well..and I also believe in asking questions to get to the truth...I'm only asking questions. I said in my first post: "I HIGHLY suggest that you watch this film (along with his 2005 follow-up), for it is not only fasincating, but beyond scary in what it suggests about the people in power - in this country and others." It is facsinating (to me) and it does SUGGEST (not prove) things about the people in power. You have to admit that the idea of powerful people attending such a dark-themed ceremony (even if for fun) is creepy. But again, my only intention was to connect this to LG15...although its interesting to see people's (sometimes strong) feelings on this come through. I AM NOT A CONSPIRICY THEROIST ;D ;D ;D ;D

That ceremony sure is creepy. But what if I told you that not just leaders like former presidents attend this ceremony, but also a man named...Alex Jones? It's true. He has attended this darked-themed ceremony at least one more time than Osama bin Laden has. This is a huge accusation I'm making, and I wouldn't make it unless I had verifiable proof. But don't take it from me, take it from the horse's mouth. That's right, Alex Jones made a video of himself attending this bizarre ritual. Why would he do this? It's almost like he's bragging about it, flaunting it in our faces. I suppose that's just how he gets off. You might say, "this is a free country," so what does it matter if he wants to go to a resort known as an elite men's club where they run around naked and pretend to sacrifice a HUMAN CHILD. But Alex Jones is not just your average joe. He's a public figure whose books and videos influence countless thousands of followers, and he does it under the pretense of being a concerned citizen who would be appalled at such activities as take place at the Bohemian Grove. He even calls himself a Christian. The revelation that he attended a ceremony where a giant stone owl is worshiped while men wear KKK STYLE ROBES should raise serious questions about Alex Jones. I have done nothing but state the facts and give my opinion. This should not be rejected out of hand, and I HIGHLY recommend that you watch my 2 part, 4 hour documentary "Alex Jones: A Man's Dark Secrets" when it is released.
/end sarcasm edit to add: spbfilm, We are on the same side. We both are on the side of the truth. Alex Jones (and sadly our government leaders) are not on our side, but not because they go to Bohemian grove, it's because they disregard the truth. I don't blame you at all for watching this film and finding it fascinating and recommending it. I don't blame people for watching it and believing it. I blame Alex Jones for putting this stuff out there, which in my opinion is b.s. My strong feelings are really directed toward him, and not you. I do feel strongly and sometimes I get too worked up.
